Really?

No what is sad, Nymph, is people like you banging your head over and over espousing an issue that the majority of Americans simply don't respect. Why don't you just give up? Go to your corner and snort or inject whatever you want. I don't care one way or the other. If you do it and get caught pay the price. If you die from an overdose I am sure the world won't be any worse off.

The very first thing you ever said to me Jethro.

And I have not personally attacked anyone.

Byron White

Now what part of that was a personal attack? You advocate drug use, do you not? You do realize that a drug overdose can cause death?

Mon, 06/30/2003 - 11:37 AM Permalink
Janice M.

Do you realize that an alcohol overdose can cause death too?

Mon, 06/30/2003 - 11:47 AM Permalink
Janice M.

I advocate the freedom to decide for myself what I wish to do or not do.

Mon, 06/30/2003 - 11:48 AM Permalink

Do you realize that an alcohol overdose can cause death too?

So? The community has decided booze is okay other drugs aren't.

Why is rat poison legal?

I advocate the freedom to decide for myself what I wish to do or not do.

I see. You seem quite proud of yourself. Good for you.

Mon, 06/30/2003 - 11:50 AM Permalink
Byron White

Why is rat poison legal?

Because the legislature says it is?

Mon, 06/30/2003 - 11:51 AM Permalink
Janice M.

GONG.

The community decided that alcohol was dangerous and made it illegal during a time called prohibition.

And people continued to use it, and many people died trying to enforce the laws against it, and finally the community came to the realization that making it illegal wasn't helping anything, so they made it legal again.

Mon, 06/30/2003 - 11:53 AM Permalink
Janice M.

What if a bunch of people started getting high on small doses of rat poison?

Mon, 06/30/2003 - 11:54 AM Permalink
Byron White

The community decided that alcohol was dangerous and made it illegal during a time called prohibition. Uh I thought the feds weren't a part of the community?

And people continued to use it, and many people died trying to enforce the laws against it, and finally the community came to the realization that making it illegal wasn't helping anything, so they made it legal again.

Yes they decided that. So what? Alcohol and most of the illegal drugs aren't comparable. But prohibition did reduce the use of alcohol just like the drug laws limit the number of people that would use those drugs. Now you can believe the pro-drug propaganda that says otherwise but it is a lie.

What if a bunch of people started getting high on small doses of rat poison?

We can deal with that when and if it becomes a problem. People get high on glue and paint now but we keep the product legal.

You are just a big of an asshole as I am.

actually, anyone who really knows me knows that this isn't the case. i'm a much bigger asshole than you are.

People get high on glue and paint now but we keep the product legal.

And insist that pot be illegal.

Mon, 06/30/2003 - 12:04 PM Permalink

Why some things and not others.

And by the way, rat poison is already being used.

You don't expect me to argue the point, do you?!!!!

Let's legalize cyanide.

is possession of cyanide illegal?

Mon, 06/30/2003 - 7:02 PM Permalink
Janice M.

Oooo! Excellent question!

Lemme google!

Mon, 06/30/2003 - 8:03 PM Permalink
Janice M.

Cyanide is a poisonous substance that is widely used in mining and other industrial processes

Ergo, legal.

good to see you back jethro.

I can't understand why the main goal in life of crabs and nymph is to legalize all drugs. Is that all they have? Nothing else matters? "Gimme my drugs man". "I can do it legal dude". "No big brother to hassle me". "Pass the freak'in needle". "Go back to bed Tommy you stink'in little brat". "Mommy nympho has to shoot up".

How do you know what the hell they do, torpedo?

You're quite the little busybody. You seem to have The Line on everyone.

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 6:08 AM Permalink
Byron White

Nymph, what you do not know and what you should know about Jethro is that... 1. He is THE FOREMOST punching-bag in these forums, and...he has been so for a very long time.

fold, you seem to be confusing me with you. YOU are the punching bag, and deservedly so.

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 6:09 AM Permalink
Janice M.

"Mommy nympho has to shoot up".

You are the weakest link.

Goodbye.

Come back when you actually have a valid point instead of these viscious personal attacks.

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 7:46 AM Permalink
Janice M.

Nymph, what you do not know and what you should know about Jethro is that...

I must admit, I did not know about the lawyer part, but seeing how he "argues" his points, it would seem to make sense.

"Come back when you actually have a valid point instead of these viscious personal attacks."

I've noticed lately many poster's personal lives are under Torpedo's scrutiny.

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 7:56 AM Permalink
Janice M.

Well, he knows nothing about me at all, which is painfully obvious from the fantasies he lives under.

Interesting how he assumes the worst about people.

I have found that those who assume the best of others are usually decent people, and those who assume the worst of others are rather unsavory people themselves.

Torpor seems to be adding up as a prime example of the latter species.

So far that is.
There is always the possibility that he could suddenly surprise the livin shit outta me and behave as a reasonable human being.

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 8:01 AM Permalink
Byron White

Interesting how he assumes the worst about people.

I don't think Torpedo assumes the worst about people. He seems to base his statements on what others write and how they portray themselves.

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 9:04 AM Permalink
Janice M.

Oh really?
And just where did he get the idea that I send my toddlers to bed while I shoot up drugs?

Those statements were personal attacks with no supporting evidence at all.

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 10:21 AM Permalink
Byron White

The statement pointed out the consequences of legalized drugs. So he put in the term "nympO" so what?

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 10:32 AM Permalink
Janice M.

The statement was intended as a slander upon me for not agreeing with his narrow point of view as opposed to actually having a salient point to make.

Also, it only pointed out one possible event that may or may not occur after the purchase of anything.

The legality or illegality of substances is not what causes child abuse or neglect.

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 11:09 AM Permalink
Janice M.

In fact, any bozo can become a parent.
Why is that legal?

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 11:11 AM Permalink
Janice M.

And gee Jethro, you seem to be defending him rather well, is he one of your alter egos?

Tue, 07/01/2003 - 11:15 AM Permalink

Everybody left...

So you can read people's minds?

The legality or illegality of substances is not what causes child abuse or neglect.

Sounds like it is becoming a mantra.

so you're willing to say that because something is illegal it causes child abuse or neglect? sheesh.

So you can read people's minds?

jethro, given what you post, yours is not a mind that needs to be read, to discern the point you're trying to make.

Did I say that? I said the statement was becoming a mantra.

Nymph was not referring to my posts but Torpedo's post.

I can't understand why the main goal in life of crabs and nymph is to legalize all drugs.

and I can't understand why your main goal in life is to argue that drugs are "evil"

probably because it isn't.

Is that all they have?

in this thread...yea...that's why it's called "the 'War on Drugs'"

Nothing else matters?

plenty matters...freedom is one of the important ones because it effects so many of the other things that matter....but in this thread, nothing else matters....it's the "war on drugs" thread and anything else (our personal lives for instance) are off topic and do not matter one whit.

It happens time after time after time. When you don't agree with the liberal agenda or use them in a fictitious example it's slander/an attack/ blah-blah-blah and your told to go away. ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

If you don't like what I post Nymph, don't give me so much ammunition.

fold turned tail and ran. You certainly can too if you can't take it.

you understand that drugs are inanimate objects, don't you?

you are gonna look pretty damn silly shooting up a bunch of stuff and then trying to talk to it....hell...it might even appear that you were...you know...on drugs or something

what drugs do you use, torpedo?
