Honestly, I just got it cause I knew it was a good price and I didn't want to see it fall into the hands of an antique dealer. And I knew it wouldn't last long there, so I had to act fast.
Me2, since you're the true historian here, if you want it, it's yours at the price I got it. It deserves to be in the hands of someone that truely appreciates St. Paul's history.
That's really cool man! Nice find, and great humanity  I'm impressed! (not that my impression makes any difference to anyone but me, but it is still cooler!)
I have an ice palace collection that I'd love to add that too. I'll be in touch with you to see if you truely decide to part with it. Let you hold it in your hands first (just like a baby) than see what you want to do.
Posen has a great idea. He mentioned the CoolerCrew store should have CoolerCrew swimsuits  -- maybe diggs would be interested in owning a few
Science Museum was packed this afternoon when we went to get tickets for Body World. We got our tix and headed back this evening for the show and exibit. A once in a life time experience.
Our daughter has been accepted to the grad school of her choice! She will be moving to San Diego and leaves next Thursday.
She has two part-time jobs, another job she's got a good chance of getting that will pay much of her tuition, a place to live, and she's happier than happy.
Of course this has only been about 2 weeks of trying to get things lined up and ready to go. I hope things keep falling in place for her.
I remember your feelings exactly when my daughter had her choice of grad schools ...you are so blessed, now you get to visit sunny California in the winter
This sounds like a math question for Kitch's Ask Kitch thread.
How many days has this board been in operation and if someone *cough* has, oh let's just throw out a number here..11304 posts, how many posts per day would that be?
I was at the bar the other night with some friends, playin pool.... at one point I went up to the counter to order some drinks, and this super-duper drunk chick sitting there goes: "hey honey... you lookin good... you got any kids?"
me: "uh.... no"
her: "you wanna make some?"
lmfao....I slammed my shot, thanked her for the offer, and walked away FAST....

But I am so very proud of her.
Now if we can just manage to get everything done that needs doing before she goes and she gets out there okay, we'll be flying high.
~It is Brenda, right?~
And yes, I'm looking at you too CM
