looks like Im getting the phone calls and texts - Cherokee probably has the closest and nicest view for these particular fireworks display....so looks like whoever wants to meet at my house OR on the Cherokee bluff tonight-
all are welcome
I wanted to sneak up top of Landmark but won't work tonight :frown:
I pass Calgary Cemetary on the way home from work most nights. There is a Hage company obviously doing some concrete work there. They have a sign at one of the entrances.
Way at the bottom of the sign it says:
Guaranteed Lifetime Concrete.
So at a cemetary, whose lifetime would that be?!?!
Change in plans - Becks, Jake and I would like to be under the fireworks -or- in front of the Cathedral ... so... I guess call me if you want to find us over there....we'll even meet up just after if anyone wants to.
Looks like we will be watching the fireworks and then driving north right afterwards. Probably end up at Chair-o-key for the show.
As a kid, we used to watch fireworks on the beach at Phalen as my grandparents lived near there and would usually have a fish fry on the 4th. Later we'd head to the lake. That was cool - but now I enjoy watching 'em while not under them.
We watched from the top of the bridge at Smith and Cherokee. Great view and some really cute kids hanging out there with their parents and grandparents to see the show.
We are now north - and darn lucky to be here. We ran into a bit of rain off and on along the way, but the last 4 miles we hit a downpour and could hardly see.
Then one of those dang semis with a double trailer went speeding by and sprayed even more water. At that point, who would know if you were on the road or not.
Then we got off at our exit, the rain stopped, and all along the road around the lake was bone dry. So weird.
We pull into the driveway here and Inks got out of the car to go unlock the house - and before he was done it was pouring again.
If any of the Friends of Dave who attended the funeral have any pictures they would like to share, I, Esther, Dave's cousin, accidently deleted all the pictures on my camera, and am very disappointed with myself, as I am sure you understand. My e-mail address is Craftyring@knology.net and I would most appreciate any anyone of you could send me. Again, thank you all for being there.
I think they hung a big white sheet from their deck or something, but I'll check. It sounds like a very cool party idea. That's the way I want to see "No Time For Cold Feet" when it comes out ~ middle of winter and outside.

I'm assuming that you would need the entire pacakge (audio, projector, & screen). The LT is our smallest screen which measures 10' tall fully inflated with a 5'x9' screen. It's big brother is the Mini, which measures 13' tall with a 7'x12' screen.
2007 Package Prices:
LT - $415
Mini - $500
Prices include delivery within 50 miles, setup, teardown, and pickup on the following day. We simply ask that you deflate the screen and bring the sensitive equipment inside for the night when finished, but we clean up the rest!
Let me know if you are interested. We do have availability for both screens on July 7th, but will need a $150 non-refundable deposit to hold the date for you. In the event of rain, we do provide you with an alternate date for your event, so there's no fear in losing your deposit unless you completely cancel on us.
watch woot.com they have the inflateable screens on the for I think it was like 150 someone correct me if I am wrong and you can pickup a projector for cheep also on there to but probley not in time for this years b-day!!!!!!!!! the projectors are sometimes junk but if you watch them you can get a good deal!!!!!!!!!

Inks got me a mushy lovey dovey card and an angel to put outdoors. If it would quit raining here, I'd go put it out there.
