well i figured out what the power problem was on my laptop: the dvd-rom drive they replaced. i removed it this morning when i got in to work and the computer's working just fine. not drawing too much power or anything because the power brick's only warm, not hot like it was last nite. rrrrrrrrrrr.

That's what I tried first and it did nothing but create the storm you talked about. Yesterday it would of worked out fine. I love that when there's only about 2 inches of the fluffy stuff and no wind. Pretty easy going. Either way I decided to use the snow-blower because it seems that I get done quite a bit quicker even in these small amounts.

No comment about 'blowing' and 'getting done quicker' from the Peanut Gallery here ;)
