The hunt's over, but the discussion rages on ...

To the three guys that I was talking to at "???." Remember...I asked you what your opinion was on Clue #7 and you weren't exactly forthright....well, now I know why! I'm slowing down. See you there.
Sorry, the Woman and I. I stepped away from the cooler for a couple of minutes. I won't be out tonight, but will be right away in the AM. If you're still around, I'll probably see you early Sunday AM.
Lori--I'm not sure what "this" refers to. If you mean talking in the cooler, then yes I am a newbie, I just started yesterday. If you mean searching for the medallion, then no I am not a newbie I have been searching for three years.
None of us are the chosen ones. Someone that accidently happened across the clues in the paper today will go out and stumble over the medallion and poof they are $4000 richer and we all go home 'til next year!
Thank you. I was actually curious about both questions. Having watched the paper over the years and silently cheered people on - it's kind of fun to find this forum. I am hoping to get my "Southern Hubby" out tonight and join in the revelry.
Well then dont say it Jill. You make people upset at you. Must go to pick up food for Marty and I. We cant dig like beavers if we are hungery. Please post messages for me. Ill be back.
Woman & I: Sorry for the delay. My computer is so slow. It takes me a few minutes to refresh. I agree, we're true de-coders for the clues. We'll be one of the lucky ones, real soon!
We were out at Cherokee today to look around. My husband found a shoe in a tree that we were all excited about for a few minutes. I think it's somewhere at Cherokee. Any ideas on what it's hidden in?
Last year I lived near Bandana Square. I would go into the SA on lexington and front (near como where the medallion was at) The cashiers there knew more about the hunt, from people searching and telling them, than anyone else. Is there a convienant store near Cherokee? You should go in and see what the people there have heard.

Back to clue exchanges--Has the medallion ever been found in a tree or in the ravine or do they always put it on the ground?
they have placed it in a tree about 7 feet up.
EVERYONE- LETS MEET AT CHEREOKEE AT 11:45. WE CAN ALL GO TOGETHER AS FRIENDS AND AFTER ILL BUY A ROUND OF BEERS. SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN.
slow to were?

fox - what about mounds?
Does anyone think it is in a small park?
if we are not the choosen ones tonight - I'll be there with the birds tomorrow a.m.
The Woman and I: Sorry, it stepped away from the cooler for a moment. I'll be at Cherokee early Sun. AM. Was nice to meet the face to the name.
i'm elimated the small park theory - I thought it was a prospect park for awhile - I have taken that out of the loop.
dig-dug,harvest
But if it was a bigger park, don't you think it would be a little clearer which one by now?
Alan and Jill- what makes you so sure. Maybe Livingston and I are the choosen ones.
any new information Desire-to-win. Or did we cover everthing this morning. I'M CONVINCED IT'S THERE!
Where do you think it is? Alan and Jill. What makes you so sure, the choosen ones.

I left this afternoon. A lot of the area was dug up. Need more of a percise location for a better digging area. What do you think?

Hi first timer here. Marty and I are like two blood hounds hot on a trail. I dont know about you but im going to win, everyone. God is with me.
just got back from cherokee and mounds about an hour ago about 30 people at cherokee and about 100 at mounds.
Desire to win - I agree - I think we have a good grip on the clues though.
Jill we are heading to Ivy Park. We know it is there. There are news channels there.
So then where is Ivy Park???
where is Ivy?
Well then dont say it Jill. You make people upset at you. Must go to pick up food for Marty and I. We cant dig like beavers if we are hungery. Please post messages for me. Ill be back.
I take it there is no Ivy.It is hidden in bread dough.
Back to the line of double division. Could it be referring to the B.N. and SOO R.R. lines that run below mounds park?

Ivy Park, I'm in the dark
Dr. S how many people know what railroad is what? But we know what your saying.

I'm not sure. It was a thought. I'm not completely sold on the division of cities and counties at Cherokee.
Some say it is hidden in a La Rosa pasta box for Rose and Rosebud but we think it is too big and it could be hidden in white bread dough.
The last I heard people thought it was in a La Rosa pasta box, an altoid container or buried under a "rosebud" sled.
JayBird, I was off for a bit. What's the story ? Where do we meet?
Dr S Remember the clue said LINE of division.
Dr S What is an altoid container and Why in one??

So where is Ivy Park? Can't find it on the map.
I agree it's in bread dough, seems to hold true to form for the clue writers.
Altiods, the curiously strong mints... The box has roses on it. (Little metal box)
when it was hidden at tony schmit park i found out from the attendat at the SA station on White Bear Avenue
probably not in metal containers because of metal detectors. The bread dough theory rules!
