Is anyone still thinking of newell??? Or how about highland park???I just can't decide on a place yet. Newell keeps entering my mind but.......I don't know!! Whats everybodys guess so far? I havent been on much being that its so damn hard to get to the board when it COUNTS!!!! lol

MMC- the "learning" could be a reference to Hamline University which is nearby NP. The part that I can't figure out is the "treasure chest" (unless it refers to the medallion's container or doesn't mean anything).
I don;t think Devil's den is like an offical name my home is close and we called it that when we hung out there (I am only 20 so not that long ago) but it is at the bottom of the big dip in the back of the park. it is almost like a big bowl. It is called that because it is way down low and you can't see the road when you are down there..... But I don't think it is @ NP.
Hmm... There's a lot of silent consensus (people that aren't posting on here, and people who don't use the watercooler at all) telling me that the populace is leaning ever closer to Highland... But I'm still baffled a small bit about he clues not working completely in one area. Maybe if I stopped waking up two hours before it gets dark out, I can take a survey in the light and see what's going on.
Ah well, I don't know. I hope that this night's clue will help a lot about what's gonna be happening.

Today's clue hints at a chest? The first 3 or 4 years of the search back in the 50's it was hidden in a chest... another blast from the past on a big anniversary for the carnival? I haven't seen any other obvious references to what they put the darn thing in this year - not that it matters what it's in, since we look in everything we find anyhow.
think terry valentine had the idea about the highlanders. maybe the tresure chest refurs to hidden treasure. could be back at hidden falls, but i say highland or newell.
Someone was saying last night that this groups of people called the Highlanders ran around destroying religous stuff in England. SO if you want to be an iconoclast, a destroyer, you have to be a highlander nad go to Highland. Pretty far-fetched if you ask me.
Is any one thinking it could be at Midway Stadium? This is ran by St. Paul Parks and Recreation. 954, these three digits are in the Stadiums telephone number 644-6659 (Backwards) The address numbers do adorn the front entrance. Learning could be Metro State half a block away or the Fire training School behind the Stadium. Blast could be from the Trains horn by the Stadium.

talked to some lady, she gave me a vague explination. i forgot what it was, but it can fit.hamlin isnt all that far from the park. just a few blocks.

the problem with the learning clue is that almost every park in st paul is near some sort of school.
