It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
After much musing over the clues, I have come to the conclusion that the medallion is at ADVENTURE PARK on the fair grounds. Here is why: If you stand in
Adventure park, you can see the large nine on the channel nine station, the large five on the channel 5 station, and obstructed is the channel four sign… “somewhere
a four†As far as numbers adorning the front door, every entrance to the fair is numbered, and the two main entrances happen also to be 9 and 5 Flying down hill
relates to the carpet slide that is on the opposite end of the park, so we won’t get too close to that There is also a chapel that we won’t go near cause we are
iconoclasts The man of fame is Famous Dave’s barbecue that is right on the same piece of land, and Dave is a common name the surely can be found in many a
tome There are lots of trees in lines on the property as well, but I have not been there today to see what they point to EVERY CLUE FITS THIS PARK!!!!
Rock...the iconoclast clue says if YOU are willing to be an iconoclast...meaning if YOU are willing to go against tradition...believe me ... the treasure will be found in
a park it has never been in before....Linwood and Merriam fit that....I respect your passion for your devil den thinking but I really think you are wrong...sorry... but
Has anyone considered that a line of trees is a GROVE = Groveland ? There is a Groveland playground in StP. Or grove could mean Grover Cleveland. Cleveland
Ave is near Merriam Pk.(Of course if you continue north on Groveland you will run into Pierce Butler which leads to Newell.)
visited newell this morning.. only about people out there.. probably those reading thes bulletin board.. I personally am thinking that it is not Newell.. its
been pretty much picked over.. i walked around the whole park within at least a half hour.. perhaps we should forget everything we have discoverd on
this board.. and start over again.. with out assumptions..
In clue #2, they refer to a popular outdoor attraction. Newell park is right by Municipal Stadium, where the Saints play. Can you think of a more popular St. Paul
outdoor attraction? Also, the first letters of the clues seem to be starting to spell "Saint's Field", although you will have to unscramble the letters. Just a thought.
there is a row of trees skirting the park.. along with a 40mph sign.. I followed the phone poles.. didn't lead me anywhere..
and the clue about value in new and well.. something like that.. some of the streets may relate in some way.. but thats every park.. hopefully tonights clue will be
It seems that for 10 LARGE, they are going to make this harder than hell. They are being deliberately ambiguous on every clue. I'm going to dig in my backyard - it's
easy and convenient to get to and well lit at night!
M is the best bet!
DM I would agree but too many clues point elsewhere.
Where is Devil's Den? Please excuse my ignorance...

The fairgrounds are State property not the City of Saint Paul.

DID ANYONE READ WHAT I HAD TO SAY AND AGREE OR DISAGREE
Newell? NEWELL? Great! The more people that go there, the less there will be where the Med ACTUALLY is!!! You can have Devil's Den all to yourself,
greedy...
DM I agree thus far on the row of trees.
NEWWELLS OUT
