Kids - I have way too much of my own laundry to do! YIKES!!!

Scribe - I agree with the Earth Day thing - but from my view point, it's much like other "Days" that is a time for renewal of those things that we should be thinking about every day. Like Valentine's Day is a day of love and roses and cards...but that should also be every day too. After all, Valentine's Day is everyday, isn't it?

you said it scribe. what's that line? every day is earth day.

Ares, thats not quite it! I resent the terminology! How about everday is a day you take responsibility for yourself day. Not quite as feel good and fluffy but makes society better as a whole I think.........

Scribe, I'm sorry, I just wanted to make sure he didn't have a stick up his ass. Thats the only reason I had my hand down there... (And for those lurkers out there- Its an inside joke :P)

Exactly Terry, but with such things as 'earth day' their shouldn't be a need for renewal! Responsibility is everyday with everything we come into contact with whether we like it or not!

I like Valentine's day though cuz it's fun and I get presents!Thats a whole nuther issue if there are presents!

You see I'm also a capitalist!:)

I just look at "Days" much the same way I look at a performance review. Time to take stock and see how you're measuring up to what you should be doing.

Ares,The one where the sheep dog and the wolf act like they come to work and punch a time clock on the tree, and the sheep dog says "Mornin Sam." and the wolf says "Mornin Ralph." Then the sheepdog goes about his work protecting the sheep and the wolf goes about his work trying to get the sheep. The sheepdog spends his day thwarting the wolf and basically beating the hell out of him and at the end of the day they punch the time clock on the tree and the sheepdog says "Night sam." and the wolf, all beat up says "Night Ralph."
