Got to see the end o'the Torchlight Parade last nite - something I've never seen! Saw the Vulcans overthrow Boreyoura$$ and the fireworks! Oh! Those fireworks were spectacular! I was really impressed. Some oldies station was rockin' away and DDY and The Mean Green Dancing Machine shook a leg to "Dancing In The Street"!!! Was lots o'fun!
Trent had decided he wanted to be a member o'The Vulcan Crewe one year... Until I told him that he'd be one for life and, consequently, have to then forever forego Digging. He changed his mind very quickly...
Izzit my imagination, or was that like the shortest parade in history???? I no sooner got warmed up, and it was over! :( It was sure fun, tho! And SO much warmer than 1999.

We have a *small* stash but it's not very easy to get to - not to mention, I sold my vehicle with the hitch, and Dad's driving a work truck to pick up the heaters we'll have out there. It's just too much to think about to late in the game for us.
I am checking to see if we have anything to burn. our firewood out back is frozen under the snow. (we know, bad place for it). We are remodeling our house, do you know if we can bring boards or doors or misc wood or is it illegal? Just trying to help, I want to bring something but fear how to serve 50 people in my mind. any suggestions? how many people do you think?
Green - My mom is okay...just a bit sore and bruised a little. She sure got lucky. Me - I just gained a few more gray hairs.
I IM'd Ian. He's got a couple bundles of firewood and was going to try scrounging for more. The only thing we can't burn is anything that has a finish - paint, stain, varnish. If it's raw wood and not a pallet, it's burnable.
And don't worry about how many folks...just bring something to share. You don't need to feed everyone...with everyone there, whatever you bring will be shared till it's gone. Believe me...no one will go hungry today.

It makes shopping easy - I only need to see the green clothes, or the colours that will go with green (and I put EVERYTHING with green! LOL!!!). And makes me easy to buy for! If ittiz green, you'll know I'll like it!
Can make life difficult sometimes... I went to the "coloured" grocery store ("Rainbow") here in town as nobuddy ever goes there and I knew I could get in and out in a flash. Took me FOREVER to wrangle a green cart outta the line o'carts...
