Tiny Thumbs - get a second computer - put them side by side - it's easier that way.

I'm thinking I need another clue.

If we looked at these clues in a general way, we would be in St. Paul on public land away from golf courses and not disturbing statues.

Nite, Radar. SCDs!!!!

Sorry Scribe for not answering (in case you hit reload one more time), yep I was the paper runner. Interestingly enough, they had four signs on door announcing the paper would come out at 11:00. About six people outside door at 11:00. At 11:15, the security guard buzzed us from inside asking why we were standing there. We said we wanted the new paper when it came out. He had no idea such a thing was planned. I found that kind of odd. At 11:21, a friendly fellow came out with about a dozen papers and said "Good Luck".

two computers...hmm... I just got Duane to buy this one with his Dec. bonus. Maybe I could convince him to set aside January's too!! (I don't think I'll get that lucky!) Good idea though!

Sweet Joe!

Tiny Thumbs - it's the only way to keep peace in this household! LOL!!

NICE Joe!, Tiny!

I could give you a suggestion on getting that putter, but I can't type it here (I'm a new and gentler green - at least somewhat...), but you prolly wouldn't like blackmail...

Terry

So how is this for stretching?

Aren't those button shoes called spats?

Spats and duels might be considered something not exactly the same - but similar.

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 9:22 PM Permalink
Tiny Thumbs

Has anyone else noticed that there is a shoe statue in Desnoyer Rec?

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 9:23 PM Permalink
Clue Master

TT - Didn't they use that shoe for a clue in a past hunt?

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 9:24 PM Permalink
Downtown Dave

spat--a covering for the instep and ankle, usually of heavy cloth. Webster's.

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 9:24 PM Permalink
Tiny Thumbs

Green, blackmail? Perhaps I might be interested... what does it entail?

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 9:24 PM Permalink
Terry

There was a shoe house awhile back in Frogtown.

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 9:24 PM Permalink
ares

no, terry, but having a spat with someone may be a good way to have a duel.

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 9:25 PM Permalink

stepdogg. some figure it's battle because there's kind of a running war theme in the clues.

ooh. that's 2 4 of a kind palinjoes in a row.

My, my, my...

I saw that, too, Tiny.

I don't think it's been in Desnoyer before but I've only been around a few years (grew up down south) so it would be news to me.

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 9:26 PM Permalink
Clue Master

It hasn't been in Desnoyer but a shoe clue was used before. I'll need to check back a few years to see how they used it.

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 9:27 PM Permalink
Clue Master

I guess the name Desnoyer popped up in my head when shoe was mentioned because we thought we found Valhala the year they used it. Of course we were totally wrong.

green

Hi, Clue. Yur here early. Nice to see you.

Tiny, catch me in purrson...

Has anybuddy done a angiogram o'Desnoyer?

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 9:32 PM Permalink

Ares, not to burst yur bubble, but I, for one (and prolly only one) have not connected to Battle Creek because of "war"/"military"/that-kind'a-stuff stuff.

Well, I think Annette's thinking some o'the same stuff I am... Not to put words in her mouth... But I *think*.

Now, I think I'm gonna have a little rest, too. Dad promised to wake me by 11:00. Seems I'm coming down with the nasty crud that's made it's way around work and daycare. What a time to get sick!

Inks, the "gold" clue was used the last (first) time it was on The Mall - meaning the horses/statue/whatever's gold up there. That's why *I* don't think ittiz The Mall...

Only my noodling. And you know that'll take you right to The Frog Pond.

    BEE! I'm on my way!
