Yes Shoveler, that seems to be a common problem with Yahoo lately. There is a way around it. Go to the home page and right click on one of the messages you can't access. Choose "Copy Shortcut". Then go to the top of the browser where the URL is and paste it there. Then towards the beginning, replace "messages" with "post" and then hit enter and you can read it. Edit the number at the end of the URL to see other posts.
A rehash bash downtown would actually be interesting, but not nearly as interesting as it would be if it were found somewhere like under an overpass again!
Whoa terry, I thought I was theold dog here. Now I am happy. I remember one year when the first clue came out something like "with a lot of joy and mirth, king boreas hid his treasure somewhere on earth" I told every one i felt it would be a harriet island and it was. Joy was the street name it was in the very first clue.
Jake. I would say not many people at all some minds started to wonder if indeed the medallion WAS HIDDEN OUT OF RAMSEY COUNTY, with reference to the clue that listed all those wild wild "west" people and again the mention of the great vineyard out east ... Marthas
clue 1 - What it is in: Sucrets box, Some kind of lucky charm(rabbits foot, horseshoe, ect ),Wrapped in toilet paper (charman) or paper towels.> In St.Paul> Clue 2 - Not on a golf course, not on a statue, not on private property.>
no one ever said what kind of beer, brew! the domestic is best though if you get it before the government house does. not that i've ever been on the maintenance-men's tour of a brewery or anything.
My ex lived right across the street from Marthaler...would make for a fun hunt even today! Also, that broken off tree is not there today! Nor is the ski rope!
it is public land, and there was a statue outside the student centre, until they took it inside.
according to Hudson's the UofM St Paul ag department is actually in Falcon heights.
Brew - This is my hubby's and my 31st hunt together. One of these years it will be ours!
always knew there was something wrong about the stp campus, shoveler. now i know what it is. :)
cough cough, earmuffs, cough
so, ter, were you hunters before the wedding, or did that come afterwards?

Cough cough, Tim!!
DaBrewMan- email me with your e mail address or im, I would like to talk to you about the wsp hunt in 79...inge01@aol.com
Hey Terry, how many pairs of earmuffs do you think are gonna be dropped intentionally this year for you to pick up.
ter- how can we possibly have a re hash bash in the skyway system?
JOE
The earmuffs story has been out there for 5 years - and not once have I found a pair. I hope others do.

DD are you gonna get the clue down at the Press???
I for one would love to see a re-hash bash under john ireland. :)
If it is at the capital mall, I may forget some earmuffs in Terrys vicinity. Ter- it would be wrong to take them home, think of my poor ears!
Hey Tim, I was considering that as well.
Any earmuffs found are mine to keep.
I believe DD is probably already there.
jake...questions or idle chat of wsp hunt would be better kept here. I like to share my stories and ideas with everyone here
the skyways close, a lot, but oh well it WOULD be interesting. as for you ter, I think that is awfully inconsiderate.
Green!!!! You're not answering your green phone!!!!
Brew- Jake is cool, dont worry 'bout him. but its up to you
For starters, how many people figured Marthaler? (just a side note, of any hunt this one intrigues me the most.)
guys, i was just reading mom p's home page, and one headline stuck out at me: Trade unionists do cold work for warm cause at Winter Carnival
for those of you who didn't read the paper, this was an article about building the ice maze. talk about going through the cold...
Don't matter much to me tim just figured with im i could get my info quicker and not bug everone one else with this stuff.
yeah, I kinda figured. instead of being secretive like a lurker.
<Charlie Brown voice on>aaghhh <Charlie Brown voice off>the waiting.
i'm bored. let's sing.
99 bottles of beer on the wall
99 bottles of beer
take one of em down
pass it around
98 bottles of beer on the wall.
clue! clue! clue! clue! clue! clue! clue!

97 bottles of beer on the wall.
I always figured that Marthaler was a mistake being outside of the county.

My top five:>
1 - state capitol> 2 - pigs eye> 3 - battle creek> 4 - hidden falls> 5 - phalen>
Domestic beer does not even come close to being good. psst... I lived in Germany for six years :)
97 bottles of beer on the wall
97 bottles of beer
take one of em down
pass it around
96 bottles of beer on the wall
the rest of you can join in whenever you want.
I think I still have about 99 bottles or so of beer from brewing over at Vine Park.
no one ever said what kind of beer, brew! the domestic is best though if you get it before the government house does. not that i've ever been on the maintenance-men's tour of a brewery or anything.
And that stuff is good.
St. Paul clinic of Psychiatry is actually in Invr Grv heights, and we all know the clue writer is crazy...
I don't like beer. Yuck!
This year I think the clues will focus on what is going on at the carnival more than street names, etc. What do you think?
Hey annette you are another downtowner right?
actually, ter, i kinda agree. there's much finer things to ferment than grain. grapes come to mind.
Yep...
My ex lived right across the street from Marthaler...would make for a fun hunt even today! Also, that broken off tree is not there today! Nor is the ski rope!
if things go as they did last night, dave ought to be just about getting the paper right about now.
cool its great to find lots of 'townies here.
This yr the medallion will be DT. Just watch!
