it is public land, and there was a statue outside the student centre, until they took it inside.

so, ter, were you hunters before the wedding, or did that come afterwards?

Yes Shoveler, that seems to be a common problem with Yahoo lately. There is a way around it. Go to the home page and right click on one of the messages you can't access. Choose "Copy Shortcut". Then go to the top of the browser where the URL is and paste it there. Then towards the beginning, replace "messages" with "post" and then hit enter and you can read it. Edit the number at the end of the URL to see other posts.

Hey Terry, how many pairs of earmuffs do you think are gonna be dropped intentionally this year for you to pick up.

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 10:56 PM Permalink
tim_the_hunter

The earmuffs story has been out there for 5 years - and not once have I found a pair. I hope others do.

A rehash bash downtown would actually be interesting, but not nearly as interesting as it would be if it were found somewhere like under an overpass again!

Whoa terry, I thought I was theold dog here. Now I am happy. I remember one year when the first clue came out something like "with a lot of joy and mirth, king boreas hid his treasure somewhere on earth" I told every one i felt it would be a harriet island and it was. Joy was the street name it was in the very first clue.

DD are you gonna get the clue down at the Press???

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 10:58 PM Permalink

I for one would love to see a re-hash bash under john ireland. :)

If it is at the capital mall, I may forget some earmuffs in Terrys vicinity. Ter- it would be wrong to take them home, think of my poor ears!

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 10:59 PM Permalink
the shoveler

Hey Tim, I was considering that as well.

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 11:00 PM Permalink
Terry

Any earmuffs found are mine to keep.

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 11:00 PM Permalink

I believe DD is probably already there.

the skyways close, a lot, but oh well it WOULD be interesting. as for you ter, I think that is awfully inconsiderate.

for those of you who didn't read the paper, this was an article about building the ice maze. talk about going through the cold...

Jake. I would say not many people at all some minds started to wonder if indeed the medallion WAS HIDDEN OUT OF RAMSEY COUNTY, with reference to the clue that listed all those wild wild "west" people and again the mention of the great vineyard out east ... Marthas

I think I still have about 99 bottles or so of beer from brewing over at Vine Park.

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 11:15 PM Permalink

no one ever said what kind of beer, brew! the domestic is best though if you get it before the government house does. not that i've ever been on the maintenance-men's tour of a brewery or anything.

This year I think the clues will focus on what is going on at the carnival more than street names, etc. What do you think?

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 11:17 PM Permalink
the shoveler

Hey annette you are another downtowner right?

Mon, 01/22/2001 - 11:18 PM Permalink

actually, ter, i kinda agree. there's much finer things to ferment than grain. grapes come to mind.
