StepDogg

there are like 1,000,000 things that circular could be referring to

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:29 AM Permalink
leelabell

linking does sound better but pp site says thinking. the paper had the word ad in the first clue...ad infinitum but not on the web and infinitum by itself is not in my dictionary

human24

So there are prob'ly several one-way circles -Como and Phalen at least.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:33 AM Permalink
tim_the_hunter

I said newell first at the pre-hunt!!!! I like the park, but ittiz too small to tell us by now. they cant expect to dupe EVERYONE

Why would anyone rush to Rice Park, when it has better references to Kellogg: Money Pot, view of the Federal bldg. and first Bank Tower..

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:34 AM Permalink
wrightwinger

hmmm, they've made mistakes before, remember the last time it was at battlecreek, revieled the park too soon, and found.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:35 AM Permalink
human24

There are golf links at Como, Phalen, and Highland. What about a one-way circle at Highland?

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:36 AM Permalink
tim_the_hunter

they were dealing with some smart old ladies

its not at kellogg!!!! too dangrious for everything!!! not at phaelen, theirs a reason they have not gone back their

Auggie

Where is everyone getting these ideas about the Fisrt bank tower???

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:37 AM Permalink
tim_the_hunter

your phalen theory is a bit weak.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:37 AM Permalink
New Daddy

But they may be BOLD this year and finally go back to phalen

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:37 AM Permalink
StepDogg

banks have nothing to do with the clue

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:38 AM Permalink
tim_the_hunter

ittiz in a snow bank.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:38 AM Permalink
human24

I like the (not) shrinking snow bank idea.

Perhaps 'linking' then, suggests that there's a perimeter either of landmarks or at least a mental description around the medallion. Out of view. Hidden.

Yah. Uh huh. tired now. Thanks everybody. nighty nite.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:39 AM Permalink
wrightwinger

like your thoughts tim, but just dont seem that practical at the moment. as of my theory, it seems way too early to give the park that way as well. so, hmmmmmm. i dont like the "real" bank reference theories, too obvious. may be true they were holding phaelen for this year, but i doubts it big time. hmm, if only someone could tell us what to think

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:40 AM Permalink
diggorius rex

apparently the only solid clue is city.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:41 AM Permalink

Think circular. Use the force.

met you at pity party Tim did you drop out of school or are your grades just going to suffer for 2 weeks?

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:46 AM Permalink
human24

Not all of us are people.

Some of us are on-line personas.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:46 AM Permalink
Auggie

Maybe nothing at all is circular; maybe they mean we need to think about the clue in a different way.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:47 AM Permalink
wrightwinger

night, got to fail my math class tomorow,

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:47 AM Permalink
StepDogg

OK...just an idea. Maybe "circular thinking" is telling us that it is at a park with a lake or by a lake. i mean Phalen's neighbor is called "Round Lake".

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:48 AM Permalink
StepDogg

and all paths around lakes go in a circle

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:49 AM Permalink
rivvraft

Tim, seems we are on the same wave link.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:50 AM Permalink
StepDogg

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:51 AM Permalink
Auggie

t g h n i i n k

This is what I mean; if I weren't so tired this might actually look like circular thinking, but this is my idea!

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:51 AM Permalink
excavating stud

stepdogg? maplewood

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:51 AM Permalink

Auggie

that message did not turn out like i thought it would

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:52 AM Permalink
Auggie

take the word thinking and write the letters in a circle. It's circular thinking.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:55 AM Permalink
human24

Spin around in a circle until you are very dizzy. Then look at the clues. It will come to you.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:55 AM Permalink
Marleyking

finally made it back online!!!!!! Got kicked off right after they gave us the clue. Missed all the good noodles.

Tue, 01/23/2001 - 12:56 AM Permalink
