Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
medallion queen
if i dont know where it is then i'm going to have to say it's off limits
Hi. Does anyone know where I can get another copy of the Treasure Hunter's map book? I lost mine from last year. Preferably some place that's open on evenings and weekends, since I am at work during the day. Thanks.
This one is to Usual Suspect because you said there is nothing in or on the air think about the western Hemispere and western street it is the next street from front play ground and, there is a hill there but there is under the bleetchers right next to the baseball feild along the fence and the, I think it's the 4th clue says far from the woods that could mean there don't have to be woods at all, So hope fully U can think about that!
I have it narrowed down to one for the most part with a couple of others as vague possibilities. Hopefully time will prove me right this time and I won't feel like an idiot like last year.
I checked out Battle Creek earlier tonight. I didn't like it as a possibility. I'm convinced Clue 4 is referring to a broadcast tower and I didn't really see any at BC.
When I was out there tonight, before the new clue came out, there was an area in the middle that someone had cleared. My friend noticed something sticking up in there. We uncovered it and it seemed to just be some sort of rock so we left it. Then the clue came out. We went back to the park and went straight for it, but it turned out to just be frozen mud that had somehow been raised, maybe by a footstep. We were so sure we had it because there was no way they would leave a rock like that sitting in a baseball field.
there's something about clue 6-"we devised ways to make it tough" & the fact that it seems like a new cluewriter that gets me but i cant put my finger on it
how do you get to merrium, i drove around and saw a sign that said mirriam park, but there was no park, im so confused. So i just went home. anyone good with directions?
It is a little hard to find and depends where you're coming from. In general though I'd say yake 94 to Snelling, go south to Marshall, then turn right and take that to Prior, then turn right again and it's there almost right away.
They could have an archive of words and phrases that they've used and how people interpret them. It seems they're using all these vague(rough) references to get us all over the place. You can still make the clues fit several parks without too much stretching.
But, I'm thinking the damn thing is in the West Picnic Grounds!
That's the only place I can find tot territory in the park, and ittiz close to the N Como Rec Center... But, I don't know if you can park on the street...
Clue #1- Merriam is a Park (and rec center) in St. Paul
Clue #2- There are lots of hills in St. Paul, and you could waste a lot of time trying to figure out the correct hill by climbing them all, but if you use your brain and interpret the clues right, you'll find the correct hill is the one at Merriam.
Clue #3- At the top of the hill there are many trees, but they open up to a large downhill slide which ends on the baseball fields and an area devoid of trees.
Clue #4- The KSTP tower, as well as several other towers are visible from the park, one very prominently visible.
Clue #5- It has a large playground and a small parking lot, but there is lots of on street parking, and it is offically known as Merriam Park and Recreation Center.
if i dont know where it is then i'm going to have to say it's off limits

Gem Lake is a suburb of St. Paul and so wouldn't qualify.
You can find a list of where to get the Guide at http://treasurehunt.8m.com/

yeah, i've pretty much got it narrowed down to 20 or 30 parks
Newell Park is located on the corner of Fairview and Pierce Butler Route. The KSTP tower is on University right by 280.
did anyone check out the diamond shaped park?
what is the diamond shaped park?
I am still sticking with battle creek...
I have it narrowed down to one for the most part with a couple of others as vague possibilities. Hopefully time will prove me right this time and I won't feel like an idiot like last year.

Allison- Did you go out there tonight? Was anyone out looking?
Allison, what do you make of tonite's clue?
whoever said before diamond match box...i agree totally
agree about clue 4
Hay, Marley. We missed you. The Ninjas showed up!!! Talk about a hub-bub!!!
I went out to BC and there were a few people there, but it was like 10:30, so I'm sure a lot of them had either gone home or to the paper by then.
My belief for clue #4 is that they took the medallion and wrapped it up in paper mache or something and made it look like a rock.
We were there but didn't stay too long, had some friends with.. Said hi to the ninjas.
thers a diamond shaped park with a large grassy ball field and plenty of childrens play equipment benches you can see a t.v.tower there also
what is the park called?
Marley liked your rock idea, said he is gonna look at all rocks when he goes out tommorrow.
Well, I'll be damned!
Something like that never entered my mind! And it would fit!
I was thinking you could see some 3M thighy. Actually, Conway's been creeping into the back o'my mind the latter part o'today...
USUAL SUSPECT do you think it is at front now?
its the park i am going to right now!!
3m because of mining? Never thought of that
after all i am the night hunter!!

Again.................How aout MEERIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!IT WORKS noboby replies.........
We looked around for a while but couldn't find any rocks of any sort. Decided to pack it in and take the day off tomorrow and look in the light.
I already knew it was at Merriam ;-)
merriam does work but i would have to actually go out there to look 1st
how do you get to merrium, i drove around and saw a sign that said mirriam park, but there was no park, im so confused. So i just went home. anyone good with directions?
Yeah, Marly...
But I think Allison's idea makes more sense because of the "... we hid... We devised.."
the diamond shaped park is near the fairgrounds

why merriam? Because you can see a TV tower from there?
anybody got a registered button!
So, Como's still in the running. Good.
Now, I know you guys are gonna scream...
But, I'm thinking the damn thing is in the West Picnic Grounds!
That's the only place I can find tot territory in the park, and ittiz close to the N Como Rec Center... But, I don't know if you can park on the street...
Of course. We all have registered buttons.
