Look in the breaking news section of the pioneer press website. Click on the link saying "the medallion has been found". It gives the names of the people who found it, where they are from, where they found it, etc..... What else is there????????
This is bad! We were moving snow 3 days in a row at Merriam. I guess Disney has to wait until next year! And what is with no button!!!! Pleaaaaase!! No snow is not the way to go for this. No snow = no fun!!
Mom PP should do something for us. I don't know what but for this to be over BEFORE the carnival even begins is not acceptable. That's my humble opinion. :(

The Pioneer Press has confirmed a winner in its annual Treasure Hunt, presented by Cub Foods. The medallion was found at St. Paul's Merriam Park just after 11 a.m. today.
I zipped over to PP afternoon edition. They definitely did NOT have a button. Said it was their FIRST year of not buying one. I feel very sorry for them that them didn't. NOT! I was hoping Allison found it or one of you guys because a few of you guys were heading out there. Again, sadness.
This was way worst than Newell in my history book. My boots didn't even get a chance to get dirty. That's it. I'm sleeping in my boots with my shovel in hand.
PP this is so unfair. I only got to dig one night (made me late for work this morning, but still). I prefer the years when we look until at least the 10th or 11th clue. I guess there is nothing left to do but wait for next year and hope for more snow!
I can't find anything in my records less than 5 clues. That happened twice while there were 2 clues per day, which means it was only the third day of the hunt.

This year the clues had us all over the city. Getting to the right park is always a winning feeling - even if you don't get lucky enough to find it.

I think the year it was at Mears - like after the 3rd clue. I think it was found more by accident that year.
