I'm starting to think she was confused. Maybe the deadline for turning in your clipped clues was today and she saw that in conjunction with Cub's sponsorship of the Medallion hunt and thought it was a separate hunt that started tomorrow? Trying to check into it.
There are lots of tournaments for things like chess, pool, backgammon and such where there is an entry fee and then that money is used to pay out a prize to the winner, so I don't see why you couldn't do the same thing with a treasure hunt.

Im living outside of L.A. in California for the next 3 months. I was just slogging through last nights posts that i missed, and well, it seems that I was unofficially inducted into the Pioneer Press Water Cooler Hall Of Shame?? Dare i ask why? I did nothing to piss anyone off that i know of last year, that is except maybe TRY TO DISCUSS THE CLUES A LITTLE BIT!! and every time i would do that, someone would make fun of my screen name, hence the silence and lurking for so long.
