Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

Yes, that new site is a PITA - can't find where I am in each thread.
Yep, this is a quick one for me too, me2. The kids are in the tubbie playing in the bubbles. But I can't leave them unsupervised for too long or the bathroom will be under a foot of water.
OMG....It took me an hour to read where I left off at 1:30....you guys I have figured it out!!! WE ARE ALL WACKED!!!! AND I thought I was the only one!! (well maybe frosti, dal, ares and Me2 but who's counting) This is a heck of a lot more fun now than before the kid found the medallion.....WOOHOO
Yeah I'm worried about the bathroom. They've got bubble bath in there, and I just turned on the jacuzzi jets. If I don't keep an eye on it, the bubbles will come creeping down the hall to get me!
ok people. its prime time. lets keep the sickness for during the day when everyone (except perhaps scribe) can participate :) and the young'uns aren't around.
As far as seeing what you have and haven't read before on the other board, I think the only way is to actually view the individual posts using the Thread option. They change from red to black when read. Although that only works for one computer at a time (IP address). If you use 2 different IP's (same log in though) it will only remember what you last read from that particular computer not what you personaly have read. By using the Topic option, it seems to function more like this one but you can't really know where you left off. Am I missing something?
Scribe - I'm sure all of us will ride this wave until it comes crashing down on us. Was there any talk of when that might be?
Me2 - Thanks for the info on the WSP Meineke - It's always good to hear positive things of a certain garage. I've told my story to a few and the general reply is that the big boys (dealers, Amoco's etc) seem to give the worst service with the little guys (Bonfe's, Joe's Garage, Etc)giving better service with experiance. I sure that's not always the case, just what's been said to me today.
Clueguy..those guys gonna give you your money back? BTW,Bonfe's is horrible! I took my car in after an accident on the front end and when I picked it up my driver's side mirror was smashed! I had to throw a complete hissy fit to get them to fix it!(there was nothing wrong with the mirror's after the accident)
after being with out my computer for almost 24 HOURS!!! I'm back and finished with my slogging...of course by this time everyone has left but I must answer THX - my answer would be no I wouldn't date or marry someone who had cheated on his ex....if he was that unhappy he should have left before sleeping with someone else. As for AW man I basically started slogging where you started talkin last night and man I would have to agree with Clue master I beleive did we have a bit of coffee last night :-) As for whoever it was who got ripped off with the mudflap thing...sorry man!!!!
Thanks again Scribe - I think we could start a site dedicated to auto repair service garages. That's a real touchy subject with a lot of people. I just don't understand why there isn't better service when there are so many garages around. You would think that they would try their best to be accurate with their diagnosis and timing since nobody wants to be there in the first place. While waiting, I overheard some of the managers phone conversations and he did nothing but make excuses to customers the whole time I was there. (boy what a thankless job) He did, however, fire a tech also. Not sure if that conversation was for my benefit or not though...
Clueguy,I'm not sure if your insurance paid the $800 or not but if they did I'd call my insurance company and file a complaint ASAP! They have ways of dealin with those guys! If you paid cash, call the BBB and Humphrey's office and than call the place and tell them you did so also ask for a mechanics report and take it back to the place that tightened your mudflaps and have them vouch for the misrepair.....and if that doesn't work, there's always my hissy fits.....they work well on these Minnesota nice folks!LOL!
oh alright, I just think its kinda neat as a matter of fact I kept hearing about this person named scribe at the PP Thursday nigth and I was like who is 'i scribe? well after paying closer attention I realized those symbols spelled something lol
Yes, that new site is a PITA - can't find where I am in each thread.

I was just trying to inject a little of that clown flava into the discussion since they haven't been around for a while. Back to normal now.
Yep, this is a quick one for me too, me2. The kids are in the tubbie playing in the bubbles. But I can't leave them unsupervised for too long or the bathroom will be under a foot of water.

OK, gotta run. My children are gone, replaced by two little piles of bubbles with 4 little eyes peeping out. Bubble monsters! Run!

Scribe...I havn't slogged that far yet...and I need to get upstairs and finish dinner...I will be back soon though.
did you bleach your hair, scribe?
No! Do you think I should?:)
well it would fit the part you seem to be playing a bit better :)
Do you think it will make me look pretty?
Should I do my back hair too?

are we having a blonde moment?
No.....CM.....but it still sucks! I don't like it!
It's very confusing to remember where you left off after you post in a thread because it doesn't seem to read the info as quickly...
its weird that it keeps them separated by ip addresses. down right sucks.
