Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.
Myabe 3:00 would be a better time then. I don't want to sit there alone for a couple of hours, unless I hear someone else wants to come early and hang out. Me2?
I just got back from Target O (AW-do you have a button that will make the target logo?) -and they put me in the "Valentines Day" mood (red & pink stuff everywhere)...I am eating those big sweethearts that say things on them. And I did get Valentine M&M's (the last bag believe it or not). I love it when everything goes 1/2 price the day after. They always seam to have more to buy than what I went there for but only spent $33.31
Well I don't seem to be getting anything done here today work wise so I suppose I might as well go home to goof off. Going to the Wild Onion with my singles club tonight so I guess I won't be seeing all you married people. :-P
Hi Jan McC- actually I don't think I caught onto the BUGGS joke yet (If it is a joke?)??...but looks like we are meeting at Wild Tymes somewhere near downtown St Paul at roughly 3ish.
Someone from the cooler will be on soon, I am sure, to post where it is, but someone may have already posted it earlier if you feel like "slogging" through the past posts and the talk of today.
I am outta here til mornin' Have a wonderful evening! Night all :)
OK...Lame joke ahead...
Mental Hospital
Jim and Mary were both patients in a Mental Hospital. One day while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sunk to the bottom & stayed there.
Mary promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out.
When the medical director became aware of Mary's heroic act he immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as he now considered her to be mentally stable.
When he went to tell Mary the news he said, "Mary, I have good news & bad news. The good news is you're being discharged because since you were able to jump in and save the life of another patient, I think you've regained your senses. The bad news is, Jim, the patient you saved, hung himself with his bathrobe belt in the bathroom. I am so sorry, but he's dead."
Mary replied "He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry."
The Medallionators will be at Bugg's tonight for the pre pre parade party. The Medallionators are also unvieling their logo there tonight and will also be at Bugg's tommorow night after the parade. We are not kidding about Bugg's.
The Buggs Bar event is a real event and it is indeed in South St. Paul on Concord. But some of us preferred to have an event close enough to the parade route that we could just walk there and so that event will be at Wild Tymes. Wild Tymes is on Wabasha near the world Trade Center. From the Pioneer Press building you would go west one block and north two blocks. From the staging area it is west one block and south 3 blocks. You can get more information about it, including a map at:
Just so you all know, we won't be doing the pre-parade thing as we have other obligations to tend to...and we have plans for dinner afterwards with some friends.
Where's Green?
At Bugg's Bar!
I got a SONG...
28,710 posts in the cooler, 28,710 posts, type them down, catch a JOE, 28,710 posts in the cooler.....

1290 to go!
And do people want to meet as early as 1? I guess I thought they wanted to hang out for a while before the parade, not just a brief meeting.
Lalalala and I got the last joe!:)
Don't know about everyone else...but we were planing on going around 3:30 or 4:00 ish.
I plan on about 3 ISH too--got plans in the morning and want to give myself time inbetween--besides - you won't miss me :)

Scribe, where's the "yes dear"?
No answer at Wild Tymes. Though with the Carnival going on and the parade, I'm sure they will be expecting some crowds.
