Wow, every year. It's NOT at the fair! A) It's Private Property B) It's in Falcon Heights There's many more reasons that I'm too lazy to list, hopefully we cant put this to rest, at least until next year
If you go into the fairgrounds to look, you're likely to get politely asked to leave. The fairgrounds are off limits.
On the way home this evening, I saw a few hunters at W. Minnehaha and then drove past Scheffer where there were maybe about 20. Interesting to see Frogtown parks being searched.
ok, sorry for the PP styled summary, BWM... Clue 1 : clue crew err? (anagram reach seems like an obvious reply towards all the whining that took place because of how short last years hunt was. parked among us = st. paul proper
Clue 2 : standing here (cherokee, or nearby) you can see the dome, but if it's treasure you seek, you should peek (down) to harriet, and DT St. Paul, the home of the medallion pathetic anagram = island mole home (medallions home)
Clue 3 : shelter, pavillion, or overpass, under the bridge, bridge over troubled waters. Even in the dead of winter the homeless, the homeless seem to find shelter? pathatic anagram of wide as triple e = tear slide wipe
Clue 4 : coldest star? .. red, white and blue = hidden in pepsi or similiar can, flags on bridge, flag on harriet, patriotic retired anchor re-dedicated memorial, legions = many, military ref.
Clue 5 : lifer = jail across the river, pathetic anagram of yours to keep = poetry use ok
more later... the library chick is getting suspicious of my use .. or am I just paranoid?
Spent a few hours today down by the high bridge where you can see the capital.
Got to get the kids out there after school. They weren't interested for very long. They were like "So, this is what you guys do", and gave s a look like we were nuts.
Every night, I say to myself "tonight's clue will be the one." Everynight the clue is leaving me clueless. I love it, and I'm sticking to the same park I've been to since clue#5.I hope I have more company tonight.
I know my favorite winter time sport is noodling clues and digging for treasure. If you do a google search, just about all sports are considered the top one.
I went to como looking for MASON (as in perry) ave like it says in my street guide and found it to be WHAT STEVE lists it as NASON - never doubt the mape gui- lol
Oh! All you poor sick 'Heads... Gods love'ya all. Workin' and huntin' and noodlin' and getting sick. :( Try so hard to get better! A 'Head HAS GOT to get The Puck this year!!! The Cooler needs all you pros out there!!! Sending virtual Hunt Noodlin' Soup attcha all.
Stupid Idea #1: *Have* the HI parking lots been scoured?
Otay! Otay! Yust a thought...
Stupid Idea #2 has to wait... I gotta do some searching sos I kind'a know what I'm talking about (if THAT ain't an oxymoron!!!)
Me and THX put in about four hours today. I'm definitely day hunting mostly this year. Without snow night time is fruitless....and nutless....and medallionless.
There's tons more to Chair-O-Key than what Guy's book shows. It runs all the way to the High Bridge on the east... Ittiz like little strips o'land along the bluff that are bisected by streets that dead-end there and all. There *are* baseball diamonds (there's your sport AND "precious"), in these strips, or at least one... I can see it in my mind, but I don't know the street. In looking at the map, it *could* be Congress Street - and that's pretty damn justicy, wouldn't you say?
Also, from up on the bluff, you can look down and see Raspberry Island and all that other stuff you gotta see.
Enkneeway, with it not being found at HI yet, well... What's like HI as far as seeing things and lining things up, but isn't HI? Well, Chair-O-Key...
No, just kidding. I have no idea. I still think it's on the thin ice under the high bridge. I'm heading to REI to buy a climbing harness and about 400 feet of rope.
Good! Glad to hear he was hunting. We had lunch together today and then he was heading down there. He had a split shift today.
Wanna hear what really sucks? Too bad, I'm gonna tell yaz all anyways. :->
The auditors never showed today. Didn't call either and tell us they weren't coming out.
If I had known that, I woulda been sleeping in a bit and then heading down to hunt. I'm so bummed!
Just got back from Harriet, Scheffer among others, both have some people wandering around, I need something solid tonight cluewise

I'm not sure if I should praise the new clue writer (Larry Millet)
What makes you think it's Larry Millet?
Oh, I just found it. He wrote a "Sherlock Holmes" book.
I'm beat, bitteryoungperson. I'm outta here to do real world stuff for a bit, then nap, then to the paper if I'm feeling better.
I'm starting to catch a cold.
Woe is me!
I know my favorite winter time sport is noodling clues and digging for treasure. If you do a google search, just about all sports are considered the top one.
A nap sounds good to me too.
See yaz later!
I don't care what Scribe says. I still say tiddly winks is the greatest sport!
:-)
Later folks.
well if sherlock lived on baker street??

RR
Perry Mason was a lawyer not a detective. His buddy Paul Drake (I think) did the PI work. Hey, maybe the "puck" is taped to the ass of a male mallard.
Howdy, 'Heads!!!

Beats me, Mike..Donny. I'm not eager to rush out, even now that its warm.
That's right, Rust. THG first, Hudson second.
Pops, I found the head of a duck decoy yesterday at HI...does that count?
Hey Reg! How long were you and Slim out last night?
Hiya Reg.
I wandered around Harriet for an hour or so today, not even a duck head...
Na, ya got to find the other end!
Me and THX put in about four hours today. I'm definitely day hunting mostly this year. Without snow night time is fruitless....and nutless....and medallionless.
Still lookin Pops...I found a nice white scarf in a tree.
hi scribe
Hey East digger! Reg.....ALL of that and then back again for the past three days!
Say, what ever happened with the IM theories? Why has that been so quickly dismissed?
Stupid Idea #2...

Just my noodling. Take it for what ittiz worth.
scribe when are you going to face the facts its in mounds
Lets have no more talk about this HI stuff. Lets beat the drum for IM again!
Mape Gui, whats your IM theory?:)
oh yah map guy
East Digger, sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.....
Bates street...tennis courts...Capitol view..IM!
mounds dont
Oh... And wasn't there a Smith, that was a justice?
I'll be at Almond Joy Park. I feel like a nut...specially after all that brush I've been through!
You still here? how's this pic? I'm getting serious about my hunting. Got to run, already late.
After so much time at Harriet today, I'm leaning more towards IM now. The city has grown by leaps and Mounds?
No, just kidding. I have no idea. I still think it's on the thin ice under the high bridge. I'm heading to REI to buy a climbing harness and about 400 feet of rope.
who thinks we will be still banging our head after tonights clue
