Guess you'll all have to skip going to McGovern's and come over to my place instead. (just kidding) Although people are still invited to come over on Sunday, the next day and ponder the clue in the hot tub. I'd agree with Kitty that getting there later is better than earlier. The crowds will thin out by 8pm because the game will be going on by then. Not sure what to do about the parking. I don't know if considering another location is even an option.
I think it'd be better to get there early. Parking is worse than dealing with the crowd. Like AW said, the crowd will thin out. Parking on the other hand, only gets worse.
I agree with Kitty and AW about getting there after the early crowd starts clearing out. Terry? Mom? Hasn't there been something (like a hockey game) going on the same night as the pre-dig gig in previous years? How was it dealt with?
I think a change of location might have been possible, say last year, but with the loss of the PP boards people who haven't made it to PF still might make it to McGoverns.
Well last year it was easy. I just had my husband drop me off at the door :)
He will be in Florida over the pre-diggig so I will just have to drive my monster truck over on top of whomevers car is parked nearest the front enterance!
Better than the night Neil Diamond was in concert there. That was a real mess.
was that a dig at me2? hahahaha- I walked 6 blocks to get to that concert. Thanks for reminding me of it- ::me2 falls into deep thought...:: "he's so dreamy" ::sigh::
That was the night that Trent was here and we met up with him at McGovern's. We almost didn't make it cuz we couldn't find anywhere to park after 2 hours of driving around.
We went back home and ended up going with a friend later and then parking had eased up considerably.
Yeah, well you guys do mean a lot to me. I was just thinking the other day. Kind of daydreaming. It's kind of far-fetched, but I would love to have some day be out hunting with my kids, seeing you guys, maybe my kids out hunting with Ares' kids, or *MOM*'s kids. I realize that the odds of me finding the coin aren't the greatest. But what has made this more of a passion has been you guys. Getting to talk with you guys, share things together, make fun of each other. Yeah it may be damn cold out there, but we can be cold together and make it that much more enjoyable. So, thank you guys.
and Kids- your fiance must certainly be a sweety too, telling you to go to the pre-dig gig instead of going to visit her! I bet she'll be hunting you in not to distant hunts. I don't think your daydreaming is too far-fetched!
last night I hear from the tv a meterologist saying "snow snow then by next week, freezing rain" I say nooooooooo not during the hunt! Then it turns out to be a commercial!!!!
naw we already know who the biggest goof is. i won't say because i know i'm already on the receiving end of a snowball or 4 from you during the hunt :)
I never thought about that. That is gonna be tough. I just say get there early, or park and ride.
If you get there at 8, there will be NO parking within miles though.
Unless you wanna pay $10 to park in the United's lot.

Well, atleast you made it! Good to see ya!
I see a couple new names on here everyday-good to see people showing up!
I see you ;)
Tripple 8's Joe!
Artemis - I think the parking will be an issue, but probably doable. Better than the night Neil Diamond was in concert there. That was a real mess.
It will be just fine busy but fine! There was a game last year and parking was bad but not to bad! Were hunters we can handle a little walk!

Ditto- you guys are the coolerest! :)

Hey, I didn't put a time table on him having kids.
And yes Artemis, she is a sweety. :)
Touching TMK, touching. It's true, the people are what make the hunt worthwhile, and our people are the Cooler Crew!
Hey hey, I am not going to take any of the blame, it was my mom's fault. All my mom, and no me.
