Good Afternoon!

Terry, I think you hit the nail on the head about the clue....all it's saying is get ready for a good one! I hope it works out that way! I didn't get out to dig at all last year, and I don't want to see a repeat!

It was really great to see such a turn out last night! Didn't get around to talk to everyone, but it was sure nice to see y'all having such a good time.

I must get back to domestic duties today, hope to catch the clue online tonight. It doensn't look like it was available till well after midnight online last night
<sigh>.

Oh - here's one of the group pics....turned out kind of grainy, but not *too* bad.

Well it says it's parked here among *us*. So the question then is, who might "us" be? It's the Saint Paul Pioneer Press doing this for the Saint Paul Winter Carnival, so one might possibly presume that by being among *us*, means being among the people of St. Paul.

On the other hand, saying that it's parked doesn't have to mean it's in a park. It could be on a parkway perhaps. Maybe like the spot where I hid my treasure at Phalen?

The more read this clue, the more I'm convinced this is not the same cluewriter from last year. Unless that writer got much better in the course of a year.

Street clue #1:

Wow, McGovern's really does have a basement. I never did figure out how one gets to it, though I've often heard it was there. Glad to hear it turned out well. I recognize a lot of the people in the picture.

And no, I don't anticipate spending much time at Bugg's during the hunt.

Right, Allison. Why should the word 'park' mean 'park'? It probably means the exact opposite. The medallion is definitely not in a park.

Adult park name clue #1:

Erection?

Sun, 01/19/2003 - 11:44 AM Permalink
Allison Wonderland

I wouldn't say definitely, but it seems a possibility. The sort of deceptive thing a clever cluewriter might do in order to get the hunters to lead themselves off the right track with their own mistaken assumptions.

Well, it's something I would do. Especially if I wanted a longer hunt. I'm still mostly going to consider parks, but if no park looks especially good, I'd consider other possibilities.

It's difficult at first but you'll get used to it. It's just like the old PP forums.

You can always subscribe just to the threads you want.

I was talking about human. Someone just asked the other day "Who is this human24?" And I remember saying that I've been talking to him for the last few years and he was a good guy. Not the type to typically make fun of other's ideas so I'm assuming it's just a bad mood.
