2007 Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt - Hidden Falls and Central Park


Not for $$ just bragging rights. 

Rules: 
1) You need to post your # of clues in the format as the example. 
2) You need to keep your "bookmark" of your pick and your correct answer. 
3) You only get ONE chance to correctly answer. 
4) If you need an extra clue(s) you out of the game. 

(tiebreaker will be the first to pick the park on that day) 
I'll start

I'll shoot for naming the park in 4 clues

what happens if I name it in 3 after I said 4?

or if I say I can name it in 10 and I name it in 3? Do I win? or do I HAVETA name it on the exact # of clues I said AND still be bofore anyone else?

cause potentially, the first clue is out and I have some guesses already! :smile: and could possibly name it in 2 :wink:

but I said 4 so I'll stick with 4

ok...lets say you are going with 4.

If you name it in 3 you have a great chance of winning as you picked before all those that said 4.

But if somebody said 3 and got it in 3 he beats you. (he took the chance to do it in less clues)

But if you name it it in 10 you are disqualified.(YOU MUST HAVE A GUESS BY CLUE 5 TO BE VALID)

If you say Crosby in 3.

And say Highland in 4.

Turns out its Highland you still lose...you only get one guess (so make it right).

a good guess could be clue 10...betting on everybody else would get suckered into one park and they would all be wrong....you wanting to hold out for a ton of clues....

I'm still inclined to think Hidden Falls, but since that seems to be taken already on Clue 3, I'm going to go on a hunch that the cluewriter is really going to stick it to us this year and put it at Lilydale.

Not sure Allison, rule 3 states "3) You only get ONE chance to correctly answer."

But Kitch wrote the rules so I guess he would need to clear that up.

If Kitch wrote the rules, and you get the park wrong, without being able to change your pick, that means you can blame him. :goofy:

You could always just be sneaky, and delete your post, with the pick in it. :cool:
