Mississippi John Hurt recorded a song in 1963, which was entitled "Beulah Land."

Can you see heaven from Beulah Land (Ln)?

I think the "old Chestnut" is Como....we love to talk about the hunts there, and the hunts there go way back to when men were men...but Como seems like a clue writer's stable park..."Here's an oldie but a goodie, it's one of my favorites and I hope it's one of yours..."

If I remember right... I believe you can see a part of a church or something from a point in the park...kinda by the old dutch oven...and since they are re-doing como pool....it could fit. UGH!

Friedrich Schiller was rumored to be a Free Mason.

    From Wiki:

Some Freemasons speculate that Schiller was a Freemason, but this has not been proven.[11]

In 1787, in his tenth letter about Don Carlos, Schiller wrote:

“I am neither Illuminati nor Mason, but if the fraternization has a moral purpose in common with one another, and if this purpose for the human society is the most important, ...”[12]

In a letter from 1829, two Freemasons from Rudolstadt complain about the dissolving of their Lodge Günther zum stehenden Löwen that was honoured by the initiation of Schiller. According to Schiller's great-grandson Alexander von Gleichen-Rußwurm, Schiller was brought to the Lodge by Wilhelm Heinrich Karl von Gleichen-Rußwurm. No membership document has been found

I really like the idea that hiding it at Como again makes the cluewriter a prodigious bore. I think I will add that to my canon of Como arguments.

ick. First kissing the rat, and now the dog costume. I've been to porn conventions in vegas, and somehow I find these videos more disturbing.

What's up with the wink in the video too?

LMAO Vino I have to agree with you..but I tell you what.. if you could have seen the creeper dressed up with a Miss Piggy head and a crazy dress down at the PP last night.... I THINK you might change your mind about the clue videos!

You know the ST. Paul 4H is the CTC Huskies, and they are on Fifield Ave, between Como Ave, and Cleveland Ave. And I've lost the link, jumping through too many rabbit holes, but the 4H Horse project just made the news in January.

MY BF knows nothing about St. Paul, history, location, parks, etc.. although each night when the clue comes out, he reads it with me, and then we watch the video. From the beginning, all he's had to say, is - what kind of deviant is making these? lol. That Rat kissing, I think was the worst so far.

Miss Piggy head and dress? Pig in lipstick??

Not that I can recall. But I have this photo from a store in Japan. The wierd part is, the face of the doll looks much like the CW's doll, but the mask is much like the owl mask worn in the farve video.

Where does one buy masks like that in MN?

    No user inform…

I was at como for a few hours this morning and am not sure which one is the big old scottish pine. There are lots of pines there - which ones are scottish? Also, not a lot of places to look near McMurry with the ice rinks over, the construction by the pool and the turf field. Maybe the area across the street from McMurry is better.

There was also a Beulah Bondi in the The Trail of the Lonesome Pine (same year as the one with MacMurray)

Hard to know just where to dig. I think we have been given Midway Pkwy, Black Bear Crossing, McMurray Field, the Conservatory perhaps, the golf course, perhaps the carousel and the bear exhibits. We have the park, now its a mater of finding the prime location.

I thing the scottish pine is just a reference to the Fred MacMurray movie - not necessarily a particular lone tree in the park...but it could be.

Have we ever had so many distinct things in clue pointing to the same park. Three movie references to two different actors?

Is there something weird going on here? Or, do they really, really want us in Como now? Or, do they really, really think we are all going to go to Como, but it is really at BC?

The Dutch Oven and that area was dedicated to a female poet many years ago based on a poem she wrote about trees. That area is now being looked at to renovate. I know I found some of that information in some Como history the past couple of days.

Beulah Lane was named for Beulah Lane.

"lonesome pine" could be generic for any evergreen grove.
