Unfortunate that one has to pay, but I am new this year to both facebook and this site and this Able Minds was my first "go-to" this year and in which I was most involved. As far as noodling I think it is the best.
Facebook is so crowded and lots of humor... fun for a break and to track who is where doing what, but serious noodling is here.
Some of the shortest posts here had the pithiest comments.
I did keep up with Allison Wonderland but feel apologetic that I did not contribute near as much there as previous years.
Once registered here, I never felt the urge to check out nor any interest in the Prospero site. ...As for the PP board :asleep:
I made a lot of good choices, until today. I was near the spot this morning, but decided to go 500 feet away. When I left last night, I planned to be on that hill all day. Stupidly talked myself out of it.
(Not that I think I'd have found it, but I would have been "there")
Very well.. I'll stick around for a while. There's not much going on here in the off season, I'll see if I can't spend some time creating some hunting tools for people to use next year.
Also, next week I plan to scrape some data from the press' site (I doubt they really look here much) before it all gets swept away when the carnival is done. I'll put it all up in the usual place.
Before leaving this forum consider this about Facebook. Facebook.
This explains a lot about why posts get lost and are arranged such strange order.
Always remember, "You get what you pay for!" For the price of two "Grande" Expressos with coffee cake, required fuel for the hunt, I certainly get more than my moneys worth for at least a few days a year.
Okay, who can add me to FB under my other FB account? (Already in there with one but not the other.) I'll PM whoever can do it...thanks! (BTW, Terry, I sent you a PM.)
So that's why I get swamped with 4 pages to "Like" if I actually "like" something [a rarity] ...and why my posts disappear on my own timeline. Thanks for the video.
Posts [about 264 of them] disappeared real fast all at once over there about a half hour ago even as I was reading thru them, despite garnering thousands of "Like"s :ooh:
BTW I do not resent or quibble with the $10 to be on here. Just mentioning it does have to be an active [$$ & register] choice to be on or not.
The Saint Paul City Council recently approved road name changes in Como Regional Park for 2015.
One change honors St. PaulÂ’s Sister City relationship with Nagasaki, Japan. To commemorate the 60th Anniversary of this relationship Gateway Drive will be renamed Nagasaki Road.
Full list of street name changes that will occur at this time:
a) Gateway Drive changes to Nagasaki Road
b) Horton between Gateway and Lexington Parkway remains Horton
c) Horton between Lexington Parkway and Hamline to change to Como Ave
d) Como Ave thru McMurray Field area changes to Wynne Ave.

I think it's worth it and it's easy to follow.
I am heading to bed shortly. My body won't know how to handle going to horizontal before midnight.

Nice to see Rob, Tim and Ken.
will see you all in highland next year.

Hope you can see that now.
