She is really bumming! I had to bow out last night when I knew that I couldn't be there for the final clue - so she told me where it was hidden. I WAS THERE FOR ABOUT AND HOUR trying to find something in/below that darn thing. Oh well, at least MucLuck found it.

I hope Me2 has time to show you guys every little nuance and trick she used in the clues (she needs to get ready for a trip)- I was very impressed!

Looking forward to the next hunt - thanks for letting me be part of this one!

Clue #12

Warning! Me's History lesson ahead :)

Once a grave yard, now a play yard
For Orchard Street Cemetery once stood this ground
They say not all the bodies have been found
Aimless souls may still roam
Searching for their way home

But now, Judgement Day is here!
You seek an item clear!

Only the promise of life anew -
will guide your hands to my capture true.

Illuminations of this great devine light
Guides these souls 35 feet west, to this heavenly site

NOW, Run or walk, but do not stumble,
Head toward the sound of passing rumble,
Have faith and harmony, no more strife
For what seams to be dead wood truly has life!

Freedom from her wooden cage,
Enlightens all who watch and gaze.
Never will there be such pleasure,
Clinging fiercely to this treasure,

Ending this hunt in finest measure

It's not the best last clue but I really really really tried to get you there-

The "Illuminations of this great devine light" is the massive field light practically dead center along the fence line (there were 2 masive lights on the field-so running twords the 'rumbling' would lead them to the correct light. Also I had told in a previous clue to search the "outer limits"-perimiter of the park- -(When you die you are supposed to go twords the bright light) --I wanted this clue to sound like if you resurrected the treasure you would be helping the "spirits" find their way home through the brightest light-

First off- It was probly 50/50 with new people and regulars hunting-technically the regulars shoulda had the advantage BUT-you didn't have me dechiphering clues with you :)

I thought everything worked out well for a small park except that it went to clue 12!!! I actually didn't prepare for the 12th clue until 2 days ago. But, I had been online and in the park soooo much I really didnt spend much time on it! It was supposed to be found a couple days ago...

OK- on clue 7 -I was nervous as all get out-I could not sleep-I got butterflies and felt ill - I really wanted things to go well-

I got the 'lost treasure' sickness!

Which is: "what if's"! = what if a kid finds it while playing baseball-what if a parks person mows over it or weed wacks it - what if someone saw me hide it and went and took it. -----sooo 2 am I drove out to the park...I didn't know it was gonna be pitch black out on the field. I had my flashlight but if I used it than people who lived in the houses could see the light! when I got out there though I could see it hanging out about 1/4 of the way just ready to fall out onto the grass. Then I realized that because it was so close to the tracks that the trains rumbling by was jogging it loose!!! So in the dark I took my screwdriver and pushed it back in, but it was still slipping (I couldn't move it to a new hiding spot at that point -it wouldnt be right)so I took some grass from the ground and shoved it up in the SLIT in the wood just to hold it in place.

Now when I was in the park (during the daylight) with people, and walked by it, I realized it was in there TOO GOOD! sooo I then realized this may end up a Marley "I had my hand up that clocks butt 5 times already!" hunt OR a AW Phalen 'stuck in the mud deep' hunt. I was sooo bumbed at that point that I began apologizing to everyone - and I am sooooo SORRY-cause I know how it feels to look somewhere many times over and it was right there!!!!! UUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

How far off the ground was it and what side of the fence was it located?  I can't believe both you and Sarah held your cool when you were standing right there watching me dig by that tree.  Nice job.

actually everytime someone was at that location searching I pulled out my phone to check the time- :)

That you did - nice

Well, where was it on the tree anyway - I wanna go out there and see how I could have missed it.  I feel that I just didn't look high enough since I was raking at the bottom most of the time. Did anyone take pictures?

Did you get the explanation story done in time?

Oh and congrats again mucluck with a small m

I had dug that stupid stump at least four times.....so had everybody else in that park.  I had given up on looking and was sitting there talking to Regman and Tim, just talking and picking at the bark...and off falls this chunk and sitting right there is this tiny little piece of plastic,  and I says, ya think Me2 will give me something for this?  Then I takes a closer look and yell OH SHIT!  I FOUND IT! Then proceeded to fall over backwards.
