Clue 1:
Hey treasure hunter, don't be a punter!
Stay in the eye of the pig
Search high, search low, but make sure as you go
Destroy nothing while you dig
The puck has been concealed, so here's the deal:
The treasure is not all that I've hid
Three eggs of blue shall give you a clue-
Old hiding places do bid
Clue 2:
You could have a lot of fun
Noodling clues and channeling bards.
Have a seat and something to eat,
Riches for you could be in the cards
Clue 3:
Con artist I am not
Nor will I guide you to the spot
Ma always said to bring plenty of kiwi,
Cloud 9 awaits at a former Mounds spot.
Clue 4:
Have yourself a splashingly good time
Find a place for the kiddies to play.
As you look around in the park you have found
Where a city ends is where you should stay
Clue #5
Numbers, numbers. Numbers galore!
Sit on 16, 18 by 24
12 and 13 can help you a ton;
But 13 is helpful in more ways than one
Clue 5 1/2:
Across from Obbs is the place to be,
Go to the bluff top where the path makes a "T"
Down the left path between 70 and 100 paces,
Look to your left and you're off to the races.
Clue 6:
Go you and forage, don't get discouraged
As you hunt and search and comb
Get your melon to a former HF dwellin'
Take your big car to a former national home
Clue 7:
Go to the brink, don't stop and think,
As your quest begins to wane.
Walk, don't run, as you're having all this fun,
Take a jaunt down lucky lane
Clue 8:
As this hunt nears its final bout, you might be getting worn out.
I'd help you if I could
If you don't want to miss, just remember this:
An ocean wouldn't help you, but a...
Clue 9:
As you grow hunt-weary, stand up proud! don't beg
The final clue awaits you, hidden in an egg
Get downtown now, I know this won't bring me many cheers;
The clue can be thine if you look inside a historical sign
In the eastern corner of the park known as Mear

The treasure will be hidden on public land in St. Paul. It won't be underground, on a lake, stream or river, on top of a building, up in a tree, close to anything electrical, inside of anything you'd have to break to check, on the side of a steep hill, any of the places the
Medallion hunt ruled out, or anywhere else that common sense might make you question if you should really be looking there.
In addition to the nine clues posted here, two easter eggs will be hidden, each containing an additional clue. Hints to the whereabouts of the eggs will be in the posted clues. If you find an egg, please call me (Alex) at 651-270-6294. It is your choice to keep the egg or to leave it for someone else to find. If you choose to keep the egg, I will post that it has been found but not who found it. If you choose to leave it, I won't post anything.
2nd thing: Have fun!!!
Excellent idea. I've always wanted to do something like that. Kind of a bonus for those out early.
Good job!
I'm going to be up all night long cooking brisket again.

Thanks for wearing it pal :sheepish:
If we do come, it'll probably only be for a little while, as we already have some plans for Carolyns b-day.

Whoo Hoooo!! :pbpt:
I thought this right away after looking at the first clue...
dont the Saints have a pig as their mascot?
maybe "Stay in the eye of the pig", doesnt just mean to stay in Saint Paul... but it could possibly mean that Midway Stadium is visable from the park/hiding location?
Newell Park?
I dunno...
Any thoughts?
Me and Carolyn are downtown, right now, stealing someones wi-fi connection.... gonna go scout some parks...
I warned people...
now that I've got my own method of transportation, im in the game....
not sure how long we're going to be out for, seeing as how we gotta be up early...
but we're down to meetup, if anybody else is out and about... atleast for a little while...
besides pigs eye- I also thought the Iris of the eye and Porkeys = Iris Park
OMG though!!!!!! we had the best time out hunting yesterday!!! very frustrating but wow!!
my body is still on a high from Friday.
Original plans were to hang Becks and watch a movie, hit a park and pick up the Montana...we meet up with Jake at Taco House first...now we hear thunder and there are dark clouds overhead so we were just gonna go watch the movie ... Jake goes home and as we pull out of Taco House we crank up the tunes and decide to go check out our park first to get it out of the way ... NOTHING! but it looked like other hunters had been there ...so we decide to go check out another park .... NOTHING... we are both frustrated now because we expected to find an egg.... the sun came out by now so we decide to drive to another park .... we weren't there 5 minutes and becks finds an egg under a pine tree!!! we both totally flip out--- we were soooo gay! as if we had found the REAL medallion-we were jumping up and down all excited - it was quite the site to see... we take some pictures... then we open it.... Becks looks dumbfounded... theres Smarties (candy) inside... I then say that bfg said that he forgot to put his info inside and maybe this is one of those... as we both now know that this was not the egg we were searching for!!! :frown: ..... it was leftover from an Easter egg hunt 2 weeks ago. and it wasnt blue. .... OMG!!! we walk around some more in this park and find more shells of eggs... we are just stunned ... we take a drive to one more park --- I stumble across another egg - this time green with nothing inside. :frown: - we drive back to my place when we touch base with Jake - we then decide to drive out to another park where we find another egg!!!!!!! a yellow one!!!! but no luck on blue! We drive to another park... NOTHING.
We wanna know if we can turn in a dozen eggs for another clue? ::pouty lips::
we want to golf/discin still today and I may hit the geo event too in Crosby.
unless you show up there between 11:30- noon
loooks like Jake and Sarah will be there too
anyone is welcome to join in -
If you take 35E south, get off at 13, and take a left...
Its gonna be on the left side of the road, after you pass the tennis club, and whatever...
big sign.... you cant miss it.
I gotta leave here in like 5 mins, to get Carolyn... then we've got a lunch/wedding shower thing to go to, for one of her friends who's getting married, in a couple of weeks....
still want to go Discin' at some point today though....
