Noodle the clues here if you wish

understandable then.

so is that a hint to us that we should only consider parks that are in the guide and have fir trees (the latter is implicit in the clue)?

When I said people were off balance I just meant that no one really seemed set on a park yet. Some people have their favorites, but even they don't seem entirely committed to them.

Terrain that "might" be called bumpy could also be jarring, jolting, rough, uneven, knobby, knotty, lumpy, rocky, choppy, stormy, turbulent

Many of us are "off-balance" in a way that has nothing to do with the hunt, too! :)

AW - So if I read between the lines, you're saying that we seem to have the clues down pretty good just not adapted to the right park.

That's a sign of a good clue writer.

Give um the clues that fit many parks. We get a sense of accomplishment by figuring out the clue but that doesn't really help us out in the scheme of things if it doesn't point us in any certain direction. It keeps ya thinking tho.

Good job!

Also, AW really likes drawing lines from one landmark to another to pinpoint the spot; my take is that the fir tree reference is such a landmark, not necessarily where the token is.

One way road...........

Doesn't Como have a one-way road?

Why, yes it does!

but let's not forqet there are others elsewhere

Right, I'm just concentrating on one park at a time. My overall list is still pretty big.

That's probably not too far from the truth. (Is that vague enough?)

AW - Are you a lawyer or in management?

OK-no ones found it yet, right? AW did you get my live message?

Hi everyone-this is getting good. I have spent enough hours on this, my husband can't wait for this hunt to be over.

I just got the message. We'll see if tonight's clue confirms or denies or simply muddles your suspicions.

The PP hunt went 132 hours. Right now we're at 113.5 and still counting. Although I do hope to get to at least clue #10.

:::sneaking through:::

chrisdigger - you love that coma-como thing. I really think you should go with it. It'll crawl around inside your head forever if you don't follow that insight.

Lots of good noodling going on here. I do think because we are thinking so many different parks, and there are so many fewer of us than during the Winter Carnival, this hunt will take awhile yet.

I haven't been out yet. I think Allison's clues are too dense to warrant digging this early. I'll probably do some heavy noodling this weekend and maybe scout. Of course, tonight's clue could inspire me!

aside from the bumpy terrain meaning the boulders, not really. i didn't get out and look though.
