I like my theory that the medallion is wrapped in dirt/leaves (earth). It allows Allison to hide the medallion in a park and decreases the chances of a non-hunter finding it. If it's in something that might be construed as garbage, it could be picked up and thrown away. This way, it allows him to hide it in many places, and still be hidden pretty good with no snow cover.
I have made a few good discoveries in listening to this U2 album. In playing it backwards, I have found the following things:
One, if you play "Angel of Harlem" backwards, you can hear a great recipe for chicken kiev from Bono's mother. Second, if you play "All Along the Watchtower" backwards, it says "Eileen Weida is the place to be". Coincidence? I think not!
does anyone else computer showing the posts about 2 hour time difference? my computer is set correctly but I read the posts time to be about 2 hours off? how do I get hooked up with a picture on this page?
i like battle creek, as there are far too many u2 song titles on the joshua tree which combined with my guide put me there, but i'm kinda leaning towards mounds given clue 3 as well.
Well, as much time as I spent out there...my feet are all wet (wore my tennies) and my hair soaked...I won't go out again without gloves, a rake, boots, handwarmers-the usual. Just thought I would be looking around instead I kicked up a lot of leaves.
A woman asked us what we were looking for...yes, I said us...Jake ran over there with me too. Jake told her a watch and the woman then asked why we were looking in the bushes and he said 'just nevermind'-I walked away like I didn't even see her. It was a 'had to be there' story I guess.
That's what I thought but I didn't think your hubby posted.
He did twice during the PP hunt, but stopped when he didn't get an immediate acknowledgement of his brilliance. :) Now that he knows almost everyone, too, I think he feels more comfortable.
according to information obtained from me2, cherokee has burial mounds as well.
almost forgot.
joe!
Don't forget the pyramids on top of the building at Cherokee. Indian Mounds seems to obvious at this point.
West Minnehaha rec center?
Why west minnehaha?
It seems we have snow.

would a stress ball be big enough to hold the medallion, dal?

how do I get hooked up with a picture on this page?
chris, the web site itself is set to pacific time. you just need to add 2 hours to it.
for a pic, you have to have a gif or jpg file on your computer less than 20kbytes in size. go into preferences and the option is there.
http://www.bobbylabontefans.com/joshuatree/Go near the bottom of this page for the song titles.
actually, nensea, that's the joshua tree and then some.
chris, click on the "your preferences" link.
scroll down the page to the "your picture" area. click browse, and navigate your computer until you find the file.
then go to the bottom of the page and click "set preferences"

Eileen Weida!!!!!
Eileen Weida!!!!!
that's what he heard when he played the u2 disc backwards, chris.
WEIDA PARK * Burr at Tedesco
I tried playing it backwards on my turntable and all I got were scratches.
LMAO I like it!!
Just got back from Cherokee and I found something...
I found a ripped open green tennis ball-perfect for hiding this medallion...
Very bummed -I think a dog picked up the tennis ball and ran with it and the medallion must have fallen out and fell over the cliff...so do I win? :)
MedKids says I should mark the green tennisball with a white M!
little joey
I saw them post last night and was wondering who they were.
THX, Snow Poker is my husband.

A lot of people get ignored during the heat of the hunt. It's just too busy in there to comment on every post.
