Remember what Wesley Snipes said about roulette?  Always bet on black.

I'm betting on black then.

Allison will stump us for now.

if its too easy, then why dont you go find it????

AW tries to identify the bad aspects of the PP hunt and tries to do the opposite.  So this years clues were criticized as giving the park too early and not leading us to the treasure in steps.  Using that logic, it can't be Newell.  Maybe he's leading us to the right park by taking us past other parks on the way there?

I'm thinking something in newell is the a guide...

kinda clue one told us phalen...almost everything pointed to phalen..

this clue just about everything points to newall...

something just a little weird about it...

There's my noodle of the night.

My guess is that there is a code using the numbers in the roulette wheel. If you look back at AW's past hunt he's mirrored letters and converted letters to numbers to spell out things in the clues. Find the code and you find the medallion.

Just my thoughts for tonight. Back to decoding the code!

Good Evening!

Read tonight's clue about 10 minutes ago...slogged through today's noodles and they all are good ones imho. Now to figure out which ones are correct.

I too thought of the devil's den at Newell when I first read the clue. Other things fit like the card box that was last found at Newell during the Winter Carnival Hunt. The ball fields, the tennis courts,,etc...but it seems too easy.

Of course we said the same thing when the PP clues led us to Crosby very early.

Hmmmmmmmm

spinning wheel, like a caesar encryption wheel? Hehe, simplistic, but devious. Trouble with decrypting a message is figuring out a start and an end, maybe it's like an anagram, where it'd be a logical placement..

So roulette is a game with a big wheel and you place bets on black or red?  Is that it?  So when it's spinning it's a blur of red and black?  Is there a term used for when they spin the wheel?  Place your bets or something like that?

Dear Tech Support:
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system>activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6 no longer run, crashing the system whenever selected. I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help!

Thanks,
A Troubled User.

REPLY:

Dear Troubled User:
This is a very common problem that men complain about.
Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application *Yes Dear* to alleviate
software augmentation.
The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0, Cook
It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these
programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program Nag, Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0!
WARNING!!!
DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.
Best of luck,
Tech Support

Dear Tech Support:

I found a way to delete Wife1.0! Throw the entire hardrive out the front door and go buy a new hardrive manufactured by the Greatlawyer computer company. This company provides the Happybachelor operating system and does not allow the Wife1.0 software anywhere near the new harddrive. The new Happybachelor operating system also comes with the Fullcustody software, which will protect against any Alimony-Childsupport viruses. Your hardrive will remain free of unnecessary software, such as Flowers2.1 and Diamonds5.0. Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3 does not come on your hardrive, but is available for installation without running any risk of damage to your harddrive. Most importantly, improper use WILL NOT result in the Nag, Nag9.5 software being installed on your computer, thus greatly reducing the risk of kicking your hardrive and going through the costly process of repairing it. Please forward this to any of your customers BEFORE they upgrade to Wife1.0.

Thank You,

The once troubled user.

ACE--- Pilot /airport?
ace and pilot were kitches idea. Air port was mine. Don't want to take anybodys credit.

And that one quote was from OT's post about the roulette wheel. The other was mine,(roulette wheel -even/odd red/black - ?) but she was on track with the other quote first.

what about this idea I had earlier? unmapped park/holcumbe circle/roulette wheel? Guide says it's a "round about". Spinning roulette wheel?
I'm liking newell even though I've never set foot in that park in my life.

What exacly is the devils den?

A west coast place of good education is Cal-Berkley.  Elizabeth Berkley was in Showgirls.  Showgirls are in Las Vegas.  Las Vegas has lots of poker and roulette.  So it must be in a Showgirls case or attached to a cd.  But then we're just back to the noodle that it's stuck to a pile of crap.
