Nice job on the clues so far Allison. Very interesting and I like that every clue fits many parks, lol. I would hate for the casino chip to be found to soon, although I was thinking I would get off my lazy behind and go pick it up tonight....awwww maybe tomorrow, lol!

stone bridge was part of crosby and on page 38 of the 2nd edition guide it talks about zone 4 of hidden falls and the stone abutment of a bridge that is directly south (and below) of the crosby enterance. Thanks 3M good job on the gathering of info...I actually still like that area as well, unfortunatly no more hunting for me til Sunday. Going up north with a couple of my girliefriends.Â
Oh, and I like the perty colors :)
I thought the colors would help the layout and make it a little easier to read. I'm not very good at writing.
That info was gathered from everbody in this thread.
Enjoy your trip Mucluck!
Hopefully we'll have some better clues by Sunday. I always say that, and the weekend clues always suck for me. (at least in the PP hunts)
Mikey - good noodling!
I really hate to point this out...
Its been bugging me ALL NIGHT...I seriously am on about 3 hrs of sleep...if that!!!!
"DOWN AND DIRTY" is a gambling term of the "river" card!!!
(I've known it since the clue came out ---thought I'd figure it out)
I'm outta ideas with it!!! bugging the crap outta me!!!!
I've gotta run my girl to school...i'll be back online around 815ish...
MMM...hmmm...."down and dirty" refers to crosby/hidden falls....
but last night night when I was walking...I just couldn't figure out the BBQ thing.....hmmmm
gotta rethink...
(did find a stop sign on the bike trail...)
hmmmm.....south of the gates...could just mean down!!!!
I'm having a hard time cuz...I can't find my dart board!! At this point I'd be better off.
I hope I'm not leading anybody away with my post. I was just trying to do what the rabitt keeps saying we should do, and I just picked that park to do it with 1st.

Clue #5
Neither factors of thirty-six, nor a city in the Michigan sticks,
Nor quoting all the sweet serenity of books
Will show what this park depicts. Rather on the middle transfix.
Then down and dirty is how a wise hunter looks

Wise hunter? Orion the Hunter? Artemis?

stone bridge was part of crosby and on page 38 of the 2nd edition guide it talks about zone 4 of hidden falls and the stone abutment of a bridge that is directly south (and below) of the crosby enterance. I think this is really crosby. This acually depicts 2 parks joined in the middle. There is also a cave there and the shadow of the existing  bridge

transfix ---
To pierce with or as if with a pointed weapon.
To fix fast; impale.
To render motionless, as with terror, amazement, or awe.
see I knew throwing a dart would be a heck of a lot simplier...
as with terror
tunnel of terror at crosby?
One reason I really don't like crosby...
I know it shouldn't matter but....
Its hard getting to that location.......with the gate close..ice....etc...
To render motionless
the trolley is stuck in time...
