Thanks 3M for your hard work. I have one thing to add that supports a river park.
Ponder if we were the animals as you stroll This makes me think of the phrase, the animals came up from the river. In other words, "I had a deer/fox/bear in my yard last night. It must have come up from the river"
Also, I can pretty much get Linwood to fit the clues.
going out for a run then off to work! yeah-I said we were getting rid of the cat about 2weeks ago BUT, it is really happening TODAY! I finally came to realize/terms the only place for her is the Buela Ln Humane Society :(Â --- I just can't deal with her wetting wherever she pleases anylonger. A little less stress. Just what I need right now- less.
Some thoughts about Hidden Falls in 1993 and 1954.
hidden falls 1993 Hidden in a diaper Wasn't jakes treasure in a diaper lost? Then in 2003 another mock hunt with hidden Falls?
heres what cooler crew.com says of clue 3 in 1993 Clue 3 With clues that are truly poetic And rhythm that really swings, We bring this hint that will help you Get right to the bottom of things.
The medallion you seek Is surrounded by white. We hope these few words Will shed some light. This is a rare early two-verse clue. Generally, they are reserved for the double-digit clues, 10 through 12. This is just an interesting aside that may be the link to why there are now 12 clues instead of 11. Getting to the point of this big clue, diapers serve the "bottom" and they're "white." You might also get something vaguely baby-oriented from the word "swings." Another interpretation, given by Marcia Brass, equates "poetic" with Longfellow, a poet and a street near the park; further, she believed "rhythm that really swings" meant a song, which related to the fact that Longfellow wrote "Song of Hiawatha." A stretch? Somebody still needs to answer for 1996's "can-do affair."
Bottom of things? Down and dirty?
Clue 4 Wheels by the millions Roulette wheel?ford plant?
Clue 9 Lots of gates spell trouble On the tricky political scene. But some of them can be helpful, If only you use your bean. The "gates" refer to the North and South Gates that serve as entrances to Hidden Falls Park.
Trickiest hunt yet? Crosby gates? South of crosby gate?
Clue 10 Think of fast rushing water That's not in your view,
You'll be all set and not have to get wet ? The water not in view refers to Hidden Falls
Clue 11 Hidden Falls Park Is where it resides. It's east of two arrows, Not too many strides.
This marks the medallion's spot east of two obvious traffic signs indicating turns with arrows. 8 "sides" instead of strides?Still a trafic sign?
If you're so stressed you can't get dressed And you really don't know what to do The things that's best on this little quest Is to forget the park and consider the clue.
By the way, that last one is definitely not an official clue. Just saying don't try to fit every clue to a park necessarily. Look at each one and see what it's telling you.
Every ?? you asked him...he asked you a ?? back....
all it did was create you to become more confused.....
the worst thing is when I was right..but the prof. asked another ?? and sent me off base....

That is one of the reasons my parents divorced ---dad hated it when he asked mom a question and she asked a question in return. Just answer it to the best of your ability please. Now she does it all the time with us kids. I try not to follow her mistake the best I can.
Just back from hunting a bit. Went to the DMV and got my new lic. then to cono then to HF. Weathers getting really nasty out there. I needed some fresh air though.
just got back from 8 parks......little 2 much for my head...
but I found one that I liked.....
I gotta hand it to AW.......... If I didn't have a good time in crosby being able to see everybody daily in the park. I would have thought it would have really sucked. As I really didn't improve my skills or knowledge of st. paul parks. Thanks AW for at least forcing me to work on my park homework skills.
Come make your bet on the trickiest hunt yet. As you sometimes take not one step, but two. You’ll be all set and not have to get wet If the same, only different is what you do.
A treasure renowned, one lost, another found Ponder if we were the animals as you stroll To be treasure bound, search on the ground And score a payday if you make a field goal
A sports bar maybe...maybe sportsman's on como I like that bar.they used 2b a 3.2 bar with setup's.
Clue #2
A Bicycle ride will be your guide To what you are looking for And in the park a moment of dark Will hold the way to keep score
A bar with a cribage tourny? hmmm isn't that Kelly's Pub Downtown?? Kinda dark down there.
Clue #3
The spinning roulette wheel is a hint to the deal As is a famous west coast educational place Lucifer’s lair helps reveal what we sought to conceal Seek unmapped terrain and it will make you an ace.

You know, once you get a park in mind, it's easy to start making every clue fit there.
the only thing that is buggin' me is the crosby gates....
if he wanted us to go to crosby park....why TELL US that direct??
You know, once you get a park in mind, it's easy to start making every clue fit there.

I'm waiting for Green to comment about there being even more math in the clues now!
I am pretty sure I know where to look- I just need time to get there -so not telling quite yet.
Will show what this park depicts -I was thinking the same line 3M-
going out for a run then off to work!

3M-get off the HiddenFalls kick baby! look elsewhere
I'm stressed about this hunt!
Yea, I need another clue.
I'm going out to get some air and let my mind go some where else for a while.

Sorry about your cat me2. I had to do the same to one of mine not too long ago.
If you're so stressed you can't get dressed
And you really don't know what to do
The things that's best on this little quest

There's a clue for you.
If Longfellow is near Hidden Falls, that would mean it is not there.
HOO-HOO! Sumbuddy in the know also thinks Linwood like me!Â
Allison, I CAN'T READ YOU!!! LALALALALALALA! Or your math. :D
Â
Allison, you are too good with your clues. They are ALLISON IN WONDERFUL LAND! They really are great. Neat rhyming on the last one.
By the way, that last one is definitely not an official clue. Just saying don't try to fit every clue to a park necessarily. Look at each one and see what it's telling you.
I know that. I just like it. THAT one I can figure out! :D You're poetry's great.
Please forgive this post...
Ian/Kitch/Kogren/McLucky/Xperienced Cachers... I need your assistance in Geocaching if you guys could check in over there. THANKS!!!
Thanks, All! I now return you to The White Wabbit's GREAT Hunt!

The Socratic method. The idea being that you already know the answer. You just need someone to point out where in your brain you're keeping it.
Kitch, go to the park we talked about yesterday - the park that isn't a park. Someone needs to check it out.
Still have over 7 hours to the next clue. Will someone find it by then? Probably not enough people actually out there looking yet.
The roulette wheel is spinning. Not stopped. A wheel within a wheel spinning in opposite directions.Â
I'm outta here...
can't take it anymore...I gotta go look at something......
this could become really hard...going to snow on sat.
But the snow this time of year never lasts very long.

need to find a park that has a theme or a city mock up or one showing like a mini mural of some dogs playing poker or something!
Just back from hunting a bit. Went to the DMV and got my new lic. then to cono then to HF. Weathers getting really nasty out there. I needed some fresh air though.
I think there's way too many baked noodles in here...
Think I'll just go back to the proverbial drawing board and take a fresh look at all the clues.
I think your right KC. Over baked noodles = mush
just got back from 8 parks......little 2 much for my head...
