How many people in the cooler crew? Did you guys know eachother before or meet during the hunt?

It's probably easier for me to give you the link to some history on the cooler crew.... then to try and explain it

Clue 6

If you're able and willin' think of a Dylan

And revisit what he could deliver

Then it might be best if you went west

From the road to the end of the river

A wonderful life won't erupt in strife

If you let an angel be your guide

Too much heat might really be neat

Now go ahead and take the obvious stride

I'll be out at mounds tomorrow around 7-8 in the AM.

Everyone was there tonight but night hunting just isn't proficient in my mind so I came home.

The clues pretty much give you an outline of steets in my mind, and the area isn't TOO huge but it is densely wooded. I think a full day with a bunch of people should end this thing before clue 7, but I guess it also depends on how well it is hidden.

A save of sorts but not in sports

Might give you cause for reflection

Find a trail in and you won't be failin'

To take a step in the right direction

So start fron the trail near the mounds?

I don't know much about Mounds, so what in today's clue leads everyone so resoundingly to it? I was going to finally go check out Highland bright and early tomorrow, but now I may have a change of plans.

Highway 61 Revisited

by Bob Dylan

Oh God said to Abraham, "Kill me a son"

Abe says, "Man, you must be puttin' me on"

God say, "No." Abe say, "What?"

God say, "You can do what you want Abe, but

The next time you see me comin' you better run"

Well Abe says, "Where do you want this killin' done?"

God says, "Out on Highway 61."

Well Georgia Sam he had a bloody nose

Welfare Department they wouldn't give him no clothes

He asked poor Howard where can I go

Howard said there's only one place I know

Sam said tell me quick man I got to run

Ol' Howard just pointed with his gun

And said that way down on Highway 61.

Well Mack the Finger said to Louie the King

I got forty red white and blue shoe strings

And a thousand telephones that don't ring

Do you know where I can get rid of these things

And Louie the King said let me think for a minute son

And he said yes I think it can be easily done

Just take everything down to Highway 61.

Now the fifth daughter on the twelfth night

Told the first father that things weren't right

My complexion she said is much too white

He said come here and step into the light he says hmm you're right

Let me tell the second mother this has been done

But the second mother was with the seventh son

And they were both out on Highway 61.

Now the rovin' gambler he was very bored

He was tryin' to create a next world war

He found a promoter who nearly fell off the floor

He said I never engaged in this kind of thing before

But yes I think it can be very easily done

We'll just put some bleachers out in the sun

And have it on Highway 61.

Just renforcing Hwy 61

I just heard that song live when he was at Midway. Highway 61 Revisited is also the album name. Oh, and Dylan is singing about the same Highway 61... it starts/ends way south.. in Louisiana.. goes up the center of the US and all the way up into Canada. Dylan was raised up in Hibbing so he would've had his share of experiences on the highway. Dylan fans who come up to Minnesota will sometimes take pictures of highway signs.

Just a few useless facts.

Clue #4 has got to be one of my favorite if not my favorite clues of all times. Can you say Big Fricken 'W'?

Awesome. We had to pack it in. Too beat. Jake screwed up his eye pretty bad by hitting a tree branch. He might have the treasure and not even know it. You missed a big ordeal when we were all quickly surrounded by 5 squad cars that drove right up into the park to see what we were doing. It was pretty cool. Some cops were pricks while others were pretty cool. That was a trip anyway. Nice seeing the crew out and about tonight.

Sheesh, I'm a huge Dylan fan (I also saw him at Midway in July) and the "revisit" clue is in there so obviously, and yet I didn't pick up on it. Well, I'm off to Mounds now. I'll probably get there right around sunrise. I just hope someone doesn't find it just as I'm pulling up; it's a lot further to get to Mounds from Minneapolis than it is to get to Como.

I hope we were wrong....

hopefully sunlight brings answers in that area.

I'm off for exactly an hour and a half of sleep, before getting everything i need to get done, prior to a full day, and possibly a night of final clue hunting....

see everyone later.

The clues have been awesome on this hunt. I almost think harder then the WC. I was sure by clue 4 it was Crosby for the medallion. This hunt had me all over the place. I was even at Iris and Newell.

BUMMER! I WORK TODAY UNTIL 1PM. I'M VERY NEW TO THIS HUNTING. I JUST GLAD ITS BEEN NICE OUT. YOU GUYS HUNTING IN THE WINTER GIVES ME THE CHILLS. MY 8 YEAR AND I HAVE BEEN EVERYWHERE. WE HAVE WALKED THRU SO MANY PARKS SHE WORE OUT HER FLIP FLOPS! SHE IS A HUGE MARIAN GABORICK FAN AND WANTS THIS SO BAD. EXPLAINING TO HER THAT ITS NOT EASY AND SOMEONE ELSE COULD FIND IT BEFORE SHE DOES IS HARD. THIS SITE HAS BEEN REALLY HELPFUL AND I DO APPRECIATE IT. I STILL CONFUSED AS TO IF ALL THE CLUES ARE TO PINPOINT THE AREA? IF SO WHERE DOES THE FAMED PIG COME IN AT MOUNDS??

Lots of woods.....lots and lots and lots of woods. I'm having flashbacks of Crosby. Squirrel paths and fallen trees everywhere. I found where "obvious" and "liquor" fit in. I'm surprised ...not too many cars though..maybe 12-15. :eyeroll:

Get out here!

If you go to the park and drive around, you'll see. There are things you wont find on your maps. Then all of a sudden you look around and....bam ooooohh that's what that was.
