Over 10,000 people showed up in the rain in Chicago to audition for American Idol 5. As usual, many of the more unusual contestants made it on camera. There was the guy wearing a Statue of Liberty costume that the judges stopped and sent away before he finished singing his first verse. There was the deputy who butchered “I Shot the Sheriff.” There was the guy in Assyrian folklore clothes, singing a song that none of the judges could understand. There was the girl with the overdone tan. Then, there was the girl with the overdone tan again. What?
actually I was looking forward to listening in on it.. but I would've had to be up at 4:30 am. heh, easier to just stay up till then than wake up then. Speaking of which, I got caching to do later on today, better get some shut eye.
I was going to link up to GoogleÂ’s designated page, but AOL (as annoying as they are) actually has ALL the commericals. And you can play them by quarter.
Make your ValentineÂ’s Day STEAMY! Take your Valentine to White Castle on Tuesday, February 14 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m and enjoy hostess seating, candlelit dining and your own server. Reservations are required.
“Reservations are required” I've done this b4...I still think it was fun...and in my price range
That's way popular. They've been doing it for years now. It's kinda like the anti-V-day thing to do. My wife doesn't like White Castles but she does dislike all the hyped up BS that goes with the holiday. We tend to do something but it's always the weekend after. This year I'm going to surprise her with a Michael Birawer canvas painting with the $ I won on the Superbowl. Guess which one I bought?
Bought it from Deck The Walls at the MOA. That 1st Bank one and McG's are cool too. My bro-in-law had the McG one and is where I first seen any of his work. It's all good stuff. And apparently selling like hotcakes since the store can't keep them on the shelves. I can't even get mine until the Friday after next. :frown:
its cool stuff. i know al and alma's is no longer available as a print. i'm wondering whether we should buy st. peter st. and mcg's just to have the prints of before they go out of print too.
the other guy we like is eric waugh. tc had 3 prints whe we moved into our house, we bought another one for a wall space in the living room (much like we bought some more furniture for the living toom when we took the tree down in 2004), and at the uptown art fair in 2004, he was performing live, and we bought one of his originals which hangs on the wall between the foyer and dining room straight in from the front door. i don't remember which casino's bathroom we were in in las vegas, but we both had to take the camera in because our living room pics were on the walls in the restrooms. he also did an impromptu drawing on the back (and titled it "an original to go with your prince" because we told him about the 4 prints of his that we'd designed the living room around). and he's doing the art for princess cruise lines' ships.
make sure your sound is on and click on the horses

Friday, Feb. 3rd, at 6:02 pm EST, astronauts threw an old Russian spacesuit
overboard from the International Space Station. The disembodied suit, nicknamed
SuitSat, is now circling Earth and transmitting a radio message which you can
hear using a police scanner or ham radio tuned to 145.990 MHz (FM). Please
visit http://spaceweather.com for more information about SuitSat and how to tune
into it.

really cool stuff that won't hurt your wallet.
looks like some nice stuff though.... and affordable, too...
She wore a bunch of it to NYE - beautiful stuff...
I was gonna ask that... after looking at the "originals" page... looks like she does a good job at it....
I'm gonna pass that link on to a few of my cousins...
I'm sure someone is bound to purchase something...
It figures....thats what happens when you try to "macgyver" things, in outerspace....
I deleted a shady section of MPLS for that, too...
heck who am I kidding... he will so totally buy it.
