it was. i don't remember which one of us saw them first, but we were both in the can at the same time and when we came out we had to both go back in with the cameras and snap the pictures
the national map still gets a lot of use, more by government officials though, but it does have a lot of good information, I've used it (especially when I can't find stuff on google earth).
Not when you're looking for political boundaries. Their state borders are okay, possibly even the county, but the city ones are all screwed up. Probably cut down some polygons to save space.
I've been trying to teach myself some GIS, been difficult to learn though (really it almost requires you to make a career out of it). Can't find a way to convert an ESRI shapefile to a boundary (or gpx trackfile) that I can import into mappoint.
Heh... and I've just scraped the top of the iceberg on digital mapping...
if you missed this on the news...you gotta look at this..
Autistic Teen's Hoop Dreams Come True
He got the chance, with Greece Athena up by double-digits with four minutes go to.
And, in his first action of the year, McElwain missed his first two shots, but then sank six three-pointers and another shot (video), for a total of 20 points in three minutes.
somewhere I saw he set the school record for 3 pt. shots...just think if he played the whole game.
here's the 3 that we found in the restrooms in new york new york while we were in vegas. we have these 2 above the love seat in the living room,
and this one is right next to the door as you walk into the foyer:
