the cp bought the soo line around 1992. or at least started bringing everything under its corporate banner then. they'd been a majority owner of it for quite some time before then.
Reminds me of when Who Wants To Be A Millionaire first aired.
I've taped each episode but didn't want to comment until I felt comfortable. Tonight was episode #3. It's all about odds. Give it a try. The game totally brings you into it wondering if you would deal or not. (which I'm sure is all carefully computer calculated based on odds) I can't remember the last time I yelled at the TV. http://nbc.com/Deal_or_No_Deal/
Some of the tenants give things to my employees all year long. They see them more than they see me. Plus they know that whatever they give will be directly appreciated and yield instant results.
Incidentally, I did tip the Simon's guy today. I'm glad it was my 'regular' guy and not some totally new guy.
I really enjoyed the 5 girls who just knocked on my door and sang Christmas carols! Very nice! I haven't seen that in a long time! Too bad my wife missed it. She would have enjoyed it more than I did.
WOW! I just got 4 more girls come and sing at my door! I asked if they were with the church and they said no. I told them that there was another group out and they seemed surprised to hear that. I had to have them wait while I went and got 4 quarters each for them. (The 1st 5 took all my ones)
I hope you all have a nice time with your in-laws-
Im gonna try to throw some discs out on the frozen lake up north and send my bro-in-law and kids on snowmobiles out to get them back for me
my 10 yr old messing with some gadget at the fireplace... I ask what it is... she says she bought lasers and set them up to catch santa!!!
no kidding! she wanted me to help her buy a forensics kit online too that shows that santa was here.... I said if he leaves presents than you know he was here!!!
I'll post photos of the laser set up when I get home
whitney asking sarah, 'don't you want to see santa?'
then my 14 yr old (sarah) telling my 10 year old (whitney) that 'don'tcha think maybe he doesn't want to be seen' ...'I don't need to see him as long as he brings presents'!

I don't know what to think... my 14yr old still believes in santa! shes inquired over the years but she still believes! its really weird!
I still believe too. That's one of the few things I love about Christmas. The kid was really really gung ho this year. So am I. Santa still hasn't come yet tho. I expect him about the usual 5am.
Enjoying a bottle of Old Fart wine right now. Watching the yule log on TV and having X-mas tunes on the cable. I always seem to give in on Christmas Eve.
Tomorrow...... Football!
Along with a zoo of people from my side of the family. :eyeroll:
Hey OT & TV - I guess you're right. Christmas is OK afterall.
I just wish I could time warp past the first 23 days of December is all.
I did hear a bell. Then it fell on my head. :eyeroll:

Watching the kid this morning was priceless. She was actually super excited that mom & dad got a little something in their stockings as well this year.
I gave one of my daughters one of those CD players, me2. She loved it! The same daughter who opened a suede jacket that I had mistagged. She opened it and was saying how much she liked it and I realized it wasn't for her and so did the daughter who knew that was what she was getting! :worried: I had to tell her it wasn't hers. We all got a good laugh out of it though. :sheepish: :frown:
That is great that you had carolers (sp?) 3m. Last year a bunch of us threw a party - drank a bottle of jack daniels and went out singing at my friend neighbors. it was fun as hell.

oh and thats interesting news cm - wow!
(I gotta remember no long sleave shirts on preformance days....) she sucks on them...
I rock....damn you wouldn't want me calling your house this week...or you would be doing some serious paying up
Then to only find out, after reading the back of the card they were attached to, that they were from our property management company anyway.
Now, not knowing if I should say anything. :eyeroll:
And now noticing that it would be during clue #10 if the hunt goes that long.
