Normally i'm totally against the internet-presale stuff... but in this case, It might be worth doing it.... miss the days of camping outside, overnight for events, just to get the best tickets possible...
Now all you gotta do, for the bigger events, is show up and get a lottery-like deal ticket number, and hope you dont get a bad spot in line

So do I... when Def Leppard came here in 1996 I wanted to see them sooo badly. I got up at 6 am and went down to the local warehouse (where you use to be able to get tix) and there was already a line - so I drove the 15 miles south to Vallejo (a well noted *rappers paradise* and pulled up infront of the warehouse there - to be the only person in line even when they opened.
I got 3 tix front row and knocked my best friend at the time down (she was tottering in her high heels) when I lunged to touch Joe Elliott.
Thats how we used to get the best seats for rasslin events, concerts.... everything... for summerslam 1999, we camped outside, 4 days before tix went onsale, to get 5th row seats....
one time for Nine Inch Nails, we had 4 people taking half hour turns, to wait outside in like 20 below windchill... that show sold out in like 15 minutes too... I'll never forget, running to the van, to warm up, and drink hot chocolate (we bought every drop of it, that S.A. had.. after a while, they just started giving it to us)
we waited out, for the very first Family Values (also sold out), and Munky himself was in town the night before tix went onsale...which was also colder than hell...and walked past the line, with a friend of his...he called us "the hardest-core Korn fans i've seen in a long time, and i appreciate the F**k out of it"
TiVo Inc. said on Tuesday it will start to sell digital video recorders with dual tuners that allow users to record two television programs simultaneously.
The new feature can help TiVo boxes compete against generic recorders provided by cable and satellite television operators, which are often distributed for free with a cable TV subscription and have dual tuners.
TiVo said its new digital video recorder will be available starting May 1 and priced at $99.99 for 80 hours of recorded programs, after rebate and service activation.
Got passed over for the supervisor position, but the person who did get it was in a higher position than me, and had been there three times longer than me, but I still did well enough to make the decision extremely tough. Plus now I'm the front-runner to get promoted and move up into her position.
sorry...couldn't resist...its a bad bad addiction
coming in concert soon with tom petty!
hahahaha
suckers....
"The Green Bay Packers are very pleased that Brett has come to this decision, and look forward to a successful 2006 season,"

Oh, wait, None. That's how many. None.
Having my co-worker take me to lunch
Going to the dollar store and getting a new flag to replace the one I lost in my presidents bag - that is actually NICER. (and for a buck!)
Getting all my mail mailed out
Depositing checks in my account
Paying all my bills and still having $ left until next friday...
Paying off my trip to Scottsdale
it's been quite the productive day.

Hey Kitch - How about a 1k on a 7k? When a no-k is more like it.
or you could get the guy to slip...
FDCPA is a wonderful thing .....lets say a guy calls your brother....you'd be entitled to 1k in a lawsuit...at least....if not a more...
Minnesota is one of the few states you can't call 3rd partys...(AT ALL...can't even call to leave a message)
its all really tricky...
fwiw...this guy is on your side.....
...IMHO....I dread daily the things he can do to me....
it's called gluttony
and it's very aptly named.
mmmmm
break off a piece of the bar, and then grab some popcorn...
the popcorn melts the chocolate, its pretty good.
mmmm chocolate and salt.
oh! and anything that is mexican candy - with the chili powder, salt and fruit flavors. Yum! I'm trying to do without the daily intake of lead tho.
Without Javon Walker/Donald Driver I think Favre's leading reciever might be Darren Sharper.
I wish I would have.
I think it's just popcorn with melted chocolate, carmel and pecans - kinda had a praline taste to it too..
killer.
3 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
2/3 cup water
6 tablespoons stick butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
1 cup pecans
Spread popcorn in 2 large, deep roasting pans. Bring sugar,
corn syrups and water to boil in 4-quart saucepan. Add
butter and cook, stirring occasionally, until a candy
thermometer registers 300 degrees F to 310 degrees F. When
mixture forms hard, brittle threads, it's ready. Remove from
heat. Carefully stir in salt, baking soda and vanilla extract.
Because the candy is very hot, the vanilla extract will
spatter and the mixture will foam. Pour over popcorn and
stir to coat. Let cool. Store airtight.
Up to 2 days before giving, break up large chunks, spread
coated popcorn on two cookie sheets. Melt chocolate chips
according to package directions. Drizzle over popcorn and,
before chocolate hardens, sprinkle with almonds/pecans. Let stand
at room temperature until chocolate hardens. Store airtight.

Now I see it's 24 cups of "popped popcorn"
Life is good... really really good...
