My boyfriend got a shirt at target the other day - he wore it golfing earlier - it's reversable one side says - I love my girlfriend the other says - I hate my girlfriend, depending on how we played golf, depended on which side he wanted to wear out. (he won - so it said love)
- putting my expert bargain hunting skills to good use, and picking up a stylin pair of shades for a buck, and Young Guns part 1 on DVD for another 2 bucks.....
- relaxing walks around Harriet, Calhoun, and Nokomis with a friend, and talks about tons of important and non-important stuff.... helping said friend figure out some problems, and convincing myself what to do about a couple of my own in the process....
- the smell of lilacs and other flowery crap growing on seemingly every bush and tree I see lately....
- a nice glance, from a complete stranger....
- rather than bitch about how long the wait was taking, like other customers were doing - deciding to buy a cup of coffee for a cute chick, infront of me in line at Caribou, because she was short on change - and somehow managing to get a phone number out of the deal.....

WN - that is what I am enjoying today too! I pulled into work, and parked along a bank of wild flowers and just about jumped in them and rolled around. I love that sweet, smell in the air. I wish I could bottle it or something.
totally agree. I love it. I find *excuses* here at work - to have to walk around the back side of the winery where the wild flower field is sometimes, just so I can check it out.
enjoy: getting the vegas trip booked for all of 750 bucks for 4 nights and 5 full days at the aladdin, on top of the 9 day trip to disney world, and the 3 day trip to the north shore, and then spending the weekend out at a good friends wedding with our poolside room to top off the summer of travel, all right before starting work on becoming dr. ares.
enjoy: (in an odd way) 3 of the women I work with and myself, all showing up wearing almost the same thing (Hot pink T-shirt / jean capris)
enjoy: my friend Zach (2nd guy from left in the band photo <------) calling to make dinner plans to go try some new restaurant next week. (he is my foodie soul mate!)
enjoy: getting to go run company errands for a while and getting out - while still being on the clock. (the assistant is on Vacay - so I volunteered to do the mail run... )
Sounds like a busy summer, ares and TC! I'll be going on my family vacation to Lake Osakis in July (we rent the whole resort), and then leaving for Cannon Rock, Oregon with four of my high school girl friends middle of August for a week.
I don't know what we are going to do (i'm going up there this weekend) I also need to buy him a present (thinking sirius satellite for his car since he covets mine)
I'd like to do something low key, like pack a picnic and go down to the park on the bluffs overlooking the river at sunset with a bottle of wine or something.
but the boyfriend is more over the top than I am, so I'm sure he will want to do something a little more formal, like dinner in a fancy restaurant or something.
yeah, He's very thoughtful. Everytime I see him he has some sort of thought gift for me. Yesterday when we golfed, he had been to target right before and got me these little mints in a jeweled case (I love anything that sparkles)
I'm a big, HUGE HUGE HUGE believer that if you love someone, you don't need a silly holiday (birthday/anniversary) to show them, that it means more coming, just cause, than cause you are expected.
fish tacos rock. I love them. They could quite possibly be, my favorite food of the week. I think it's the cabbage instead of the lettuce that makes me love them so...
It was good to have him over on our boat. It had been a very long time for him. With all he and my Grandmother had been going though it was nice to see his cares floating away.
Time to go spring cleaning at the cottage... little dusting, wash the boat and hoist up the jolly roger... yup nothin like summer eh? think we are one of 3 cottages left on our bay... the rest of minnetonka is residential now. A shame really seeing the summer people go...we are the fourth generation to enjoy that little cottage.. (hey kid... wanna help with cattail duty again  )
enjoy: 1.Going to Sacramento for the weekend.2. Getting to go have dinner at this great outdoor restaurant 3. Going to see the cheeseballs after dinner 4. Getting to hang out with friends who I haven't seen in a while.
also enjoy: one of my best friends gets to come up towards the end of the month from LA for the weekend, and get to be wild & crazy!

I do enjoy the fact that I got 100% correct on my Special Engineers License (boilers) exam this morning.
One more test on plumbing tomorrow and I'll be done. Not sure how I'm gonna do on that one. Kind iffy.
