Well wasn't that beautiful.

Very nicely said me2. I felt like I was right there with you.

That's funny! Must be his way of explaining himself when he cuts people off. I think I'm going to get a plate that reads BACKOFF

Thanks for the hug, me2.

Oh, and my dream last night? I've been putting off getting new glasses. I have the prescription, just haven't picked out frames yet. I dreamed I had picked out frames and had to keep returning and getting different ones because they just got uglier. At least now I know what frames NOT to get.

Yeah but I have a new car. It's not worth the insurance hassle just to make a point.

Now if I had an old rust bucket with just the minimal insurance where I didn't care about it, I would have just let my car slam into his.

Nah.. really I wouldn't have.. I'm just to darned nice. Fun to think about though.

Nah... I wasnt talking about hitting him... I was talking about blowing around him, and showing him whats up....

Talking about dreams - I've found it to work every time that I can have long dreams hanging out with Amy when I take my Melatonin. I only take it when I need to since I don't want to ruin it's effectiveness. But man what a bonus to feel like I'm right there with her as if it's real. And I've never had any bad dream when I've taken the stuff either. I've been taking this stuff for many years and I still swear by it!

Another big plus is that it doesn't leave you all groggy like sleeping pills do. You wake up refreshed and ready to go like you've just been hypnotized or something.

This one is kinda an irritate (although not a huge thing)

We had a special lunch brought in today at work.

Pizza & Ceaser Salad. I'm not a big fan of Pizza, so it was easy to say no to that - the Ceaser was a lot harder.

I could have spent the points - I have pleanty today, but I just can't enjoy eatting stuff that I KNOW has so much fat packed into it anymore.

So while everyone else - chowed down, I went back to my office, and made my whole wheat with chicken breast, mustard and pepperocini sandwhich (2 pts) and I know when I weigh in on Wed I'll be happy for the choice I made.

But it SUCKS SO MUCH in the moment.

I think I'm mostly irritated at myself, cause I pretty much had to yell at myself for having such sucky will power 99% of the time.

Good choice Vino

Irritate: Lunacy.

You know that fedex commercial where this group is having a meeting in a conference room, and the one guy says they could save money by switching their shipments to fedex, but the boss says no, then turns around and says the same thing, and everyone praises him for it.

Something very similar just happened here. I was the guy making a suggestion, where my boss said no, then he comes up with a very similar idea and everyone thinks it's great. :eyeroll:

Ohh.. nice list of irritates today. I'm working on solving a major computer issue. So we're trying to add more RAM to the workstations. I printed off what I need, where we can get it from, so my Boss could pick it up. He looks at the address and says "Oh no, I don't go by there" and leaves it at that. I'm not going there to buy the stuff myself, I know he'd never reimburse me for it.

thanks.

Someone just left 2 peppermint patties on my desk... it's like they are testing me or something.

except the idea of mint and chocolate together is about as foul as chocolate and peanutbutter together.

... guess I'm just a purist with my chocolate.

Prolly right. That and eating too much. I'm going on a diet on the 26th. I just received the results from my physical - many normal things but the ones that aren't normal are way out of range. And it seems that diet, exercize and lowering alcohol consumption are the keys.

No surprise there but it's just different to see it in writing from the docs office. My wife ignored the signs, I can't. My kid depends on me.

well sweetie - all I can say is good for you! I'm glad you are doing something about it.

If you want support or a buddie to kvetch to about it - I'm your girl. I think I now have book marked just about every healthy eatting page on the net.

besos.

irritates: I don't know what to call them.

My Co-ed team has 2 games this weekend Sat/Sun -against the #1,#2 team. 3 of the team members told me the other day that they would be at the games.

It's also the weekend of a big overnight party at the lake. I popped onto the evite - and all 3 of them are RSVP'd for the party

Them going isn't the issue - IF THEY TELL ME AHEAD OF TIME - cause I can get subs to cover - but not telling me - is going to really piss me off.

We are all adults - be responsible for your actions.

Here here man.

Course I didn't have to have a doctor tell me to, I just felt like I needed to.

Really though, I've felt a lot better since I started.

I hope it makes me feel better. I can only assume it will.

Irritates: Finding out that a very good friend of mine who was recently stationed in Iraq just lost his mother AND was given a divorce from his wife. He has 4 young boys as well. I don't know all the details but I guess some of it had to do with him being gone for two more years fighting in the war.

This fricken war hasn't done much in the way of positives in my book. FU Bush and your admin!

cold. damp. fogged in morning. quiet.

Normally - this may be an enjoy - but when trying to field large trucks, and do things, it's kinda a pain.

now if I could just be out walking in it - and not working... it might make the other thread

me2, I wonder if the wedding is one two of my friends from here are going to!!

they left for St. Paul yesterday for the wedding which is today - the groom will be wearing a kilt - the bride's parents (Gina and Jack) are from here.

if you get a chance, get introduced to Joan and Rosie - they are a riot. tell them you know their friend Diane, aka Queen of the Flower Children - they don't know me as Eags.

I have to go to a wedding next Saturday. I've lucked out in avoiding several over the last couple of years due to other commitments (last one attended May 05)

This one I need to go to - two of my good friends are getting married (it's actually a very complicated story - which I'll save ya'll)

But after a conversation I had with the groom when we were leaving a strip club in Mexico in July together - I have serious doubts either of them are doing it for the *right* reasons.

which sucks - cause they are both great people.

Sorry to hear about your friend. I have seen quite a bit of similar situations where the spouse at home doesn't want to wait the wait. There are a lot of other things involved in those situations, but anytime someone unexpectedly leaves another is rough.

Hopefully it doesn't end up being difficult for him to have a good role in his kids' lives.

Wish him luck for me.

For some reason I did not want to go on a pontoon boat ride with my girl friends one night - I had this very bad feeling that something very bad was going to happen...

I convinced myself that is was the possible storm that was moving in and that I did not want to be on WBL if/when it hit - so I declined and did not join them...

I still worried during the drive home -

That was August 1.

I don't mess around with feelings - it's spooky.

my irritation of the day. stupid people.

I sent wine to another facility, along with it's compostion - cause it's computer generated, it doesn't necesarily add up to 100% (it goes out 8 digits - so 99.99999998%)

This woman just called me, and is all mad, and says she can't receive it - cause it doesn't add up to 100%.

Sorry 3M.

Mine is a bit of both I guess. After 3 months, it looks like I might finally get my car back on Friday or Monday. Which sounds OK except when you have a hotel birthday party planned for your kid this weekend and haven't paid for shit yet.

And this is your current bank balance :eyeroll: :frown:

<edit> And now to find out that my fricken bank not only bounced my mortgage payment, which is gonna cost me plenty itself, but also charged me $31 to bounce it. All this with a positive balance to cover it. I posted a deposit before 3pm so I wouldn't have this problem. Assholes! The 4 cents is what was left after covering the mortgage payment. But not the $31 bank charge which I shouldn't have received anyway. It's like they took out the $31 first which made the mortgage payment too much for what was in there.

I see lots of time talking to my bank manager tomorrow. Sheesh! :eyeroll:
