java joe, all the first clue ever tells you (according to all the explanations of all the other clues) is that the medallion is hidden in a park in st paul... too much info!!!
as far as the flying down hill part of the one clue is maybe a trick statement....if you nfollow a saint paul map and check out hill st off of irvine park ...it is only a block or so long and points directly at you geussed it.....rice park
Clue #1 - normal disclaimer Clue #2 - do go to close to sliding (maybe stay away from Como) Clue #3 - Scoreboard at Midway, U of M golf course, 9-5-4 would be KSTP 94.5. Clue #4 - Studying (U of M), Iconoclast; word scramble for what medallion is in (perhaps it cools can, can cooler anyone?) or Iconoclast may be Luther as in Luther Seminary. Clue #5 - more about schools, Murray School is nearby, as is U of M. My guess is Newell, Langford, or College Park.
the well pump at phalen is in the northend of the lake and the water ran down a waterfall and into the lake...... it is located between round lake and phalen lake near the creek...
besides, the paper is smart, they wouldn't hide the medallion downtown, because there wouldn't be enough parking, plus there is too much activity down there
lil debi remember though .... this is the 150th anniversery so history will be of the utmost importance and for 10 grand the clues will be the toughest yet
furthermore as far as yearning for learning could mean this= anyone who is out of highschool would have to want(yearn) to go to post secondary schooling, hence metro state adjacent to where.......yup mounds park
so what are people's thoughts on como???
check this out rice park is adjacent to the saint paul hotel which was built over the old market avenue methodist church, mears park (formerly smith park)still has a piece of the old "pilgram baptist church" on it = iconoclast????? anyone
Linwood Park is AT Victoria and St. Clair!!!
does anyone still think newell
JavaJoe, what are your thoughts on the last two clues, could it have somwething to do with schools in the area of the park
all GLers with cylinder powered shovels think newell
I haven't ruled out Newell. 'Course, I haven't ruled out too many at all.
LYNWOOD PARK???? there is a langford park kinda by newell park, off of cleveland...

heyheyhey
the overseer has a feeling the medallion is in the park...
the very first clue says' the time has begun' which could mean the clock on landmark center
the last clue on yearning for learning could be the library too the old and the new are the old landmark and the new lawson building
hey where is the MEDALLION?? any1 know if they do say something please which park is it in what location give me ideas people please?? if i know something i would tell you guys hey be a help!
as the overseer the overwhelming feeling is that it is in a cheese package...

heyheyhey
is overseer a psychic???
heyheyhey
christopher yes that would be the obvious wouldnt it??? however in all of the hunt it has NEVER been on rice park???!!!
its at lynwood
because the park is small and there is too much activity in the area, as well as there isn't enough parking, it has to be in a park not downtown
am more than your average psychic....... i am a gumtion county psychic...... please heed my warning it is 3 feet under the ice on the lake......
howdy
flying down hill could also mean also holman field as it relates to mounds park,
iconoclast could be that originally there were 16 mounds now 6 where the heck did the other 10 go?
954 could be the elevation of mounds park or could equal an adress crossed with a specific tree count?
lol you cant even spell gumption what kind of psychic r u?
is it lynwood or linwood?
furthermore as far as yearning for learning could mean this= anyone who is out of highschool would have to want(yearn) to go to post secondary schooling, hence metro state adjacent to where.......yup mounds park
tiz linwood
DID ANYONE LOOK AT HIGHLAND PARK OR DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE PEOPLE ARE DIGGING ? BEEN DRIVING AROUND ALL LOCATIONS AND SEEN NO ONE !!!!
let me play devils advocate one more time 954 could be the last time it was hidden in hidden falls park......1954
I was out at Newell Park last night with about 20 other people.
