It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
lester the jester
duff the minneasota historical society has web site its moderately good
Richard: I e-mailed you a few months back, when you posted in the old board. My grandma and grandpa were Rose and Carl. Sent you an e-mail with a little bit of family history.
Golden- I'll probably dig up around the same spot. Scott, you need to be diggin with a pro like myself. Who did you go with? Where in Newell did you look?
Jesus may have been one of the biggest iconoclasts in history, and look at all the battles fought on behalf of Christianity. Yet I think the connection between iconoclasm and battles is a bit too thin to be a useful clue.
That's it! They chopped the medallion into bits and hid all over the city. So to earn $10,000 you have to find all the pieces and put them back together again!
regalman you are just a fucking dork, you are on this thing 24/7, this week is down time for the right hand huh, because your to busy on this page rather then PORNOGRAPHYYYY, and for you miss vicki thing your about as bright as a burnt out light bulb, oh ya baby the hunting hermafrodite is back to rip shit up, buya
Hey, shucks. Thanks for the compliment, Mo-Info. Yes, now I remember Eagle Eye and our brief correspondence. Good luck to all. The night has just begun! Snore..... Can't e-mail to Brian, BTW. He's in Spain studying abroad with SJU. He feels bad he can't be here but is loving the siestas!
We just got back from newell park. Not too much happening there ( about 10 people ).The place is pretty well dug up though, much more than yesterday. I'm so confused.....I need to get a beer, eat some pizza and wait for the clue. Maybe they'll screw up and post it early again. That'd be sweet!
I don't mean to criticize anyone's brainstorming, but maybe this will help. When you're trying to interpret a clue, pretend that you're the person writing the clues. Again, I don't actually mean to pick on anyone, but for example, if you wanted to suggest a word like battle, would you do so with a word like iconoclast? If you can think like a writer has to think, you can narrow down the results of your brainstorming.
eagal-eyes to eagle-eye, wow I didn't know there was already one out here. sorry! Just started two days ago. how about this, Four nice pillars at the entrance to newell bldg? T.V. channels are 9,5,4 ??

i've been thinking they have been describing all of the parks in St.Paul ? anyone think the same?
Golden- I'll probably dig up around the same spot. Scott, you need to be diggin with a pro like myself. Who did you go with? Where in Newell did you look?
I also e-mailed back and forth with Brian last year during the hunt. He's about the same age as my sons.
ANYONE ELSE THINK BATTLE CREEK IS THE PLACE TO BE?
The clues are more difficult this year that's why....not many people any where. We're all waiting for the most obvious clue to zero in on one park.
No I don't think it covers every park
Thanks Lester,
Just throwing out some suggestions.
A blast from the Past, Didn't they blow up the Ice Castles?
I went to st.matthews church in NE mpls for a little while.....?
went with paul,took a look from 895

does anyone else have a hunch toward the capitol mall? the 'past' could be the somewhat new history center
regalman- are you going out tonight -- do you still think it is in the same spot as you did lastnight?
Just waiting for the street clue
DUFF_ "blast from the past/ ice castle/ Good idea that could mean harriett island or phalen right?
it says "studying the past can BE a blast" not "blast from the past" (correction)
the garage logicians are still scouring newell.....

Those are my thoughts, I really have to lean toward a large park right now. Phalen, Battle Creek, or HP.
I think some people are trying to mislead others on here
