If you like scorpios, I might have a friend for you AW! Maybe you can whip her into shape! ;-)

Aquarius and Scorpio tend to have an odd sort of attraction for one another, but aren't generally all that compatible when it comes to actually dating. Though if she really does need a training program to get into shape, that could be arranged. ;-)

My sister and her husband are also both Pisces. She just turned 33 and they've been together since she was 16, and they still seem pretty happy together.

Hello!

Long story - but I lost my internet connection here until they get their rears out here tomorrow to find the problem and fix it. I knew I had my old Qwest dialup account info around here somewhere. I finally found it!!! I have internet again!!!

Marley - what did you email that bounced? If it's from Allison's yahoo thing, I have that updated with my correct email addy. I'm confused.

See you all at Fern's!

P.S. We had a nice breakfast this morning with some of the Puck Posse and Regman at Keys.

Because St. Paul is the place, flowing with heaps of park space,
You may consider it smart to work together in pairs.
For two heads keep better pace seeking out a treasure's hidden place
Or then again one person alone may spot the fourteen squares.

true, I found that out with my friend, I actually haven't talked to her in about 4 years, but I still keep informed.

Sorry about simley CM :-(

Had a great time at Ferns! Didn't get to talk enough to the other end of the table, missed alot of faces, but lots of laughs!

Cant believe I didnt have my Camera!

It sucks, that your team lost, CM, but atleast yours was "in" the tourney... the one I root for, hasnt been there in a grip. The I went and put 20 bux on Duluth East, and they got eliminated in the first damn round. ARRGH!!! But hey.. atleast the 2 teams that made it to the final game, in AA, hadnt been there before. SOrry to say it though, but I kinda expected Warroad to beat Simley. Although, It would have been cool, if yer team had won..

Marley - Our place is often blessed with eagles. They nest around the big lake there. Aren't they a sight!?!? We have watched them many times playing in the winds.

We went out to Como for a bit. It's darn cold though...and once I got chilled, that was it. I can't let whatever is left of this cold get worse again.

We also had to run over to Abbott-Northwestern to be sure I can find that early Tuesday morning when I take my Mom there for her surgery. Tomorrow night we'll be over to her place doing all the last minute things she wants done for when she returns home.

Thanks! She's having her right shoulder replaced. She is the bionic woman.

If they ever find a cure for arthritis, it will be a glorious day. She has had both knees, both hips, her left shoulder replaced and countless other procedures to deal with the damage done by the arthritis. She's endured much pain, but continues to thrive and be as active as she can be.

The poster is from 1945. If the guy was even 18 back then, he'd be 75 now and probably looks a bit different by now anyway. I think the text in the ad is actually from the poster and that they aren't really still looking for him.

If anyone knows how to get ahold of Downtown Dave- please send this to him---I think this is the corner that his high-rise currently is..but isn't in the photo- note: the capitol way in the distance and the tip of Kellogg park.

Some Vulcan HISTORY...

" Fire King Rex VI (1940), was the first Fire King to have a Krewe run with him, the first Krewe to ride a fire truck -- officially -- and the first Krewe to bestow the ever-popular "mark". This Krewe was also the first Krewe to wear a running suit, cape, helmet, and goggles (mask) -- -- as we know them today. THE KNIGHTING CEREMONY These ceremonies have been around for almost fifty years. Every year, each Krewe knights literally hundreds of lucky individuals. Special people are singled out by Vulcanus Rex and his Krewe to bestow this unique privilege on. A knighting ceremony consists of a "title" being bestowed, and a certificate being presented. The title and the memory of this event are forever. The titles that are given to the individuals are thought up by the Krewe members, most of the time. THE ROYAL CHARIOT The present fire engine being used by the Fire King Krewe is a 1932 Luverne. The engine was built in Luverne, Minnesota, and is believed to be the only one of its type left. THE MARK The mark started in 1940. The mark was originally imparted on ladies of the realm as a sign of their willingness to demonstrate their allegiance to the Vulcans and to forsake forever Boreas and his followers. In more recent times, the mark has been extended to male members of the population in this manner: a Krewe member will draw a "V" on the cheek or forehead of the individual. " :)...

Good Afternoon!

Just thought I'd let you all know my Mom's surgery went very well...better than expected. What they thought was rotator cuff damage, wasn't damage but pinched. That all means the full shoulder joint replacement will have a better outcome once everything heals.

Abbott-Northwestern is a huge hospital complex.

It sure has been a long day. Had to be there two hours prior to surgery, 3 hours of surgery, and then 2+ hours in recovery. Glad this day has come and gone.
