Man, if the Wild can stay healthy and reach the playoffs, they can make some noise. = )

What I love is that despite the great start they have had and some good quality games, sites like ESPN.com and CNNSI.com have them ranked like 19th. I'm interested to see how they're ranked next week.

Officially #1 record in the league with tonight's win! We get to see Saturday's game with Vancouver from a suite at the X. I'm sure it will kick ass just like the the rest of the season has so far. Go Wild! The team of 18k

We have season tickets, nananana booboo. The best valued tickets in sports, the $10 section. Plus they are front row, isle, right on the corner. They are the best $10 seats and as far as view goes, beat many on the upper deck sides, and also several lower deck on the edge of the sides (not the end).

The wild are looking strong! I predict a 6th or 7th seed in the playoffs, and a first round loss, but who knows right? It is more than anyone could have asked for a few years ago.

Hey tim, just to let you know, season tickets would do me no good. I live in Oklahoma. If I still lived in MN, I would probably have season tickets too.

Woooooooooo Hoooooooooo! Nice job guys! 1st home play-off win!
Game 7 tomorrow night in Denver.

Who's recent record seems to be the same as the ol' Vikes when it comes down to winning a crucial favored play-off game.

Lets hope we get to see it from the other side for a change.

I was watching Pardon the Interuption last night after the game. They said that Colo and Philly were gonna win last night. Hope the choose the same again to night and we can watch the Wild move on. But if they should lose tonight, no matter the score, I am proud to be a Wild fan because no one outside this state gave them a chance to win more than a game.

As for season tickets, I had them the first 2 years but could no longer afford them. 3 kids put a dent on the pocketbook and to get someone to watch them was getting harder each time.

I am proud to be a Wild fan

Here, Here

And not any bandwagon fan either. Which is OK too, I guess, since I am a Wolves bandwagon fan.

The hockey world is stunned!!!

Minnesota Wild advance to the 2nd round of the Stanley Cup play-offs by beating the Colorado Avalanche 3-2 in a 7th game OT win!!!
Bring on Vancouver.

No Shit!! Woooooooo Hooooooooo!

Fortunately, we did take advantage of the only chance we had in the OT period. They were way out handling us up until then.

Sorry about the lenghty post. After watching all the Sports shows until 3 last night I got tired of hearing the biased reporting. Although the #9 had some good reports.

Cool Med2K3! Did I know you disc golfed?

Well you do now, just started last summer, it's a lot of fun. (and cheap too) and yeah, I'm always up for some new courses, haven't played either of those.

The Wild is for real. This a team game!

That's the beauty of it. I actually like when those Wild bashing announcers don't pick the Wild. Then we come back and shove it down their throats. Very similar to last years Twins. The fact the Twins went as far as they did was great. But what made it even better was showing Bud Selig, and the rest of the league, that we still could do it even though there wasn't any outside support.

Med2K3 - Where do you play? I'm open Wednesday-Friday every week.

I've played Highland, North Valley (IGH) and Acorn (RV) but don't think I've played Burnsville yet. North Valley seems to be the big hangout for most players until Kaposia (SSP)is up and running again. Let me know if you wanna hook up.

Why are they making the Wild play so late? I don't get to see the end of the games when they do this.

Come on Wild!! Lets win the next one!

Both the NBA and NHL are trying to stagger the games so that fans can watch most of one game, then see the next game. So the NHL will schedule one game for 6 or 7, and then the next game for 9 or 10.

I'm not a big hockey fan, but that was a fun game to watch last night.

I'm tired today though. 5:00AM comes mighty early.

Why do they have the games running so stinking late?

Tue, 05/06/2003 - 5:22 AM Permalink
ThoseMedallingKids

Partly because it's Vancouver, and it's not so stinking late there. Mainly though it's so that they can have one game on early and one game on late. Hockey fans can watch the early game, then watch the late game.

Next game is scheduled for 8:00 on Wednesday anyway.

Sorry, my bad. I heard 7:00 on the radio I thought. I'm just glad it's not a 9:30 start. Ugh :( Those are tough, then you go into overtime and you might as well shower and get ready for work.

My daughter was up with the flu all night so staying up wasn't an issue butr normally I can't do the late night games like that.
