What about statues of famous people at various parks that may match the clues?

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 7:44 AM Permalink
G-Man

line 3 refers to "these clues" rather than "this clue"... does that mean within clue 6 there are a couple/few things to factor or are we to Closely link clue 6 with the previous..

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 7:46 AM Permalink

jody... that leans toward HP cause most of the park IS a golf course and there is a fence separating the course and the"park" hense the phrase "stay away from the action...

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 7:48 AM Permalink
Boreas Rex

as far as first letters of clues spelling out the name.....i don't think so, that idea is still too fresh in peoples minds

Could there be a statue of a famous person holding a "tome", book of some sort. That would fit "these clues" in line three?

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 8:03 AM Permalink

Has anyone given thought to smaller parks (i know newell is small), but i looked through past clues for various parks and it follows a pattern of the bigger the park the earlier they give you the name of the park (more digging area) Como -- 4th clue, Highland -- 5th clue.

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 8:07 AM Permalink

its west of hp right???

Newell is out of the question.....is HP? I've searched both Wed. and Thurs. nights. It seems as if it might be there...but there is so much ground to cover. Has anyone thought of the disc golf course idea? "Non-traditional..." Disc golf is non-traditional.

yeah i got a hudson right here and i do notice a st. denns rd just south of HP also but i dont think that has any sig....

What about the pided piper of hamelin. This could point toward Hamelin which runs along HP or the university which is near Newell.

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 8:09 AM Permalink
Yahtzee

I was at HP two days ago and the disc-golf area is torn to shreds, especially around the "hole" for four and "tee" for five.

Fri, 01/29/1999 - 8:11 AM Permalink

Annie... i broke down the word "DISCerning" and if DISC is removed it is really close to "yearning"&"learning"...
