It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
Golden Boy
Rock is right. Lyon - I wouldn't want to spoil it for you. It's like one of those pictures that you have to stare at for a while before you can focus on the image - except
it's not a picture - Once you see the "4", you see it clear as day - while other people walk right by and never notice it. It's AWESOME BABY. Pretty clever trick by
the PP. Rock if you know what I'm talkin 'bout e-mail me.
If some of you are so positive where the Med is, why are you here and not digging? I still need more clues - I can work the ones we have so far to fit a few different
hey Mike Mcginn... i looked at EVERY park name in St.Paul and got NOTHING out of it.... i was thinking "many a tome" may jumble to get a park or street name
but it doesnt... there are NO parks in St. Paul named after a famous person that coincide with the clue as it reads... the ones named after people are named after
local figures that really arent famous.. just a person who helped the neighborhood the park is in
I like the analogy of the picture you have to focus in on. I have done that myself. You must admit though that sometimes the picture that you see consumes you and
you wouldn't see anything else even if it was there. People see what they want to see somethimes.
Hey Woodduck - Not tonight - can't see in the dark. Bseides my son's got hockey at 7:15 AM!!!! But I will be digging starting at about 10-1030 tomorrow morning
Let me bounce this one off of you folks...I can get all of the clues to fit the Capitol Mall, but the fact that it is not a St. Paul park per se as specified in clue one
hey MOSS and ROCK... chill out... i have deciphered the clues to lead conclusively to Highland over and over on these boards... check around 1:30am-2:00am this
morning and you'll see my take on all 6 clues.. i posted each clue one by one... Perform a search with the words highland and my name and the #'s of the posts and
the times they were posted at will pop up near the bottom...
and like i have said before its just one mans take on the clues... nothing is set in stone yet... i wish there was a chair-o-key type clue that would just lead us all to a
park... the only other park i'm considering now is newell although it is really dug up...
Rupert - If you decide to the Terms & Conditions of the "4" Club - which includes a face-to face meeting and none of this cyber chatter, and a basic agreement -
then I, and others in the "4" club would gladly show you the "4" in person. Limited membership though. Of course I have to clear it with the other members,
Woodduck, Birdie, etc.
Everyone else in the club has seen it independently - once you see it you say - WOW, MAN - THAT ISSSSSSSS COOl.
PP is very smart to put that in. It is very hard to see devils den BUT is easy to get to if u find the right spot Newell is bigger than everyone thinks!!! Just remember
the clue #4 "but theres VALUE as WELL as IN the NEW. Simply said!!
Rock.... if you are worshiping the devil by goin to the devil's den you wouldnt be an iconoclast since you arent tearing down an icon.. you would be supporting an
on the other hand the Highlanders (not the movie/tv ones) were very famous iconoclasts... so if you are willing to dig in highland you are a highlander...!!
woodduck... thats way tooooo easy... just putting the first word behind the second isnt the same as chair o key.... to come up with chair you had to figure out what
the head of a committee was... and unlock the door meant key... plus it was a later clue... why would they give us the name of a rather SMALL park on clue #4 and
give us 8 clues that essentially would have to lead to where in the SMALL park it is...??? to win $10k you're gonna have to think really HARD
man my mom chintzed out on me for tonight... i'm gonna be home until 11:30 to get #7 and go to my ma's pad right after that... it looks like it's gonna be sunrise
Barton - you and I traded thoughts a few days ago. Let me ask you this - what is you're take on 9-5--4 at HP. My guess is that your explanation is a reach. If you
aren't absolutely sure - then you aint diggin in the right place.
9-5----4 is the key to this whole thing. It's not a "which park is it clue" it's a "vicinity" clue.

on the other hand the Highlanders (not the movie/tv ones) were very famous iconoclasts... so if you are willing to dig in highland you are a highlander...!!
