It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
Rupert, I don't think its at fairgrounds, as it is not a Saint Paul Park as specified in clues. But, it was found once at Fair Grounds, under three inches of ice no less. So
I don't doubt your beliefs ... but the devil is still part of that religious belief system => if your good you go to heaven if your bad you go to hell and the devil ...
Okay ER....a man of fame offers a useful name that can be FOUND IN many a tome.....name is in books!!! Volumes of books!!!! It is killing me not to tell you the
name... Also...of course the medallion is all ready hidden and of course they don't want it found too soon...that is another reason they would not reveal the name of
the park so soon as you think it was in clue #4....but the name of the park is in #6...(the devil made me say that) Haha!! LOL!!!
I know that area of the fairgrounds covers alot of St paul and other cities and I can see how so many points lead to the fairgrounds...however there is just so MUCH
Capitol Mall is also a past hiding place, in a pair of earmuffs by Veterans Service Building. If your read past clues and compare, the leaders in similarity are Capitol
the medallion isn't even in place yet so I am not too worried about figuring it all out yet. I will wait until it is really obvious then I will go hunting, by then they will have
ok, clue 1- there is a park in the fair. clue 2- The giant slide which is right in front of the park. It is a outdoor actraction I'm working on 3- I have several ideas clue
4- The modern building is right behind the slide, there is a church next to it wrking on 5, lot's of ideas on how it fits clue 6- Job, a man from the bible. A BOOK of
the bible. The job corps is across the street- a place of learn ing. Job is a usefull thing, especially if you like to pay your bills
I think our best bet is Battle Creek with the references to 1995 four years ago it was hidden there. Additionally that old ski jumping hill is a sledding hill
I'm interested in your den idea but i don't see how man of fame///usefule name fits into NP. I think the medallion is in a small chest so i know you aren't thinking that
As a recent transplant to Cheeseland..Eau Claire..and having lived in the cites for 30 years..you all have no idea of the fun that the treasure hunt really is until you are
110 miles away and can only use maps and memories...okay maybe fun should be slashed and painful should be inserted!!
Fairgrounds is not legal hiding place. i think??
BC fits every clue
I agree with Stone. Even though I will admit some points are good, Newell has been hashed and rehashed! Let's try some new ideas.
Lets here the State Fair ideas.
And what about the clue that says "If you were not so stupid, you would have found the medallion by now...idiot!!!"
The fairgrounds land is private property. And it is in falcon heights.
It was there years ago, oh, and by the way. The is a park in the fairgrounds. :)
The Fair is St.Paul, and I think it's even Como Park.
Medallion Finder...how does Battle Creek fit every clue???
But It is private property.
Rupert, I don't think its at fairgrounds, as it is not a Saint Paul Park as specified in clues. But, it was found once at Fair Grounds, under three inches of ice no less. So
legal, yes, likely, no.
WELL DEVILS DEN IS BY THE HILL. YOU MUST HAVE NOT LOOKED IN THE AREA OF THE HILL YET.
I don't doubt your beliefs ... but the devil is still part of that religious belief system => if your good you go to heaven if your bad you go to hell and the devil ...
therefore my comment still stands.
Is the capitol mall a legal hiding place. it is public ground, but not really a park??
.
YOU ALL SUCK!!!!!
YOU'LL NEVER FIND IT CAUSE I HAVE IT IN MY HOUSE NOW AND WILL BE GOING
DOWN TO COLLECT MY MONEY IN A FEW MINUTES!!!!!!
HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!

HANG ON YOU ALL I HAVE A HUGE DICTIONARY AND ENCYCLAPEDIA ON MY COMP SO ILL LOOK IN THAT. ADIOS!!
I know that area of the fairgrounds covers alot of St paul and other cities and I can see how so many points lead to the fairgrounds...however there is just so MUCH
in that area!
What Park does everyone feel as though it is at?
Capitol Mall is also a past hiding place, in a pair of earmuffs by Veterans Service Building. If your read past clues and compare, the leaders in similarity are Capitol
Mall and Battle Creek.

Got the info on the next clue, as you will or won't make the trip...That sounds good.
MUSHIE ARE YOU KIDDING ABOUT THE NAME IN 6 OR DID THE DEVIL TELL YOU THAT.
well it does ding dong
THE STATE FAIR GROUNDS IS NOT IN ST. PAUL...IT IS IN FALCON HEIGHTS...THAT IS A FACT!!! IT IS ON A PART OF FALCON HEIGHTS
THAT POKES INTO ST. PAUL...IF YOU LOOK AT A MAP IT COULD BE EASY TO THINK THAT IT IS IN ST. PAUL BUT IT IS NOT.
I think there is alot to be said about this damn 9 and 5 and 4 thing...
medallion could be in a book!
Explain yourself Medallion Finder...I charge yee with a demand for free tips!
MushieW-todays clue could just refer to what the med is in. It coult be in a biograpy of someone famous. (tome being your "book"theory)
Have fun hunting elsewhere than Newell Whill me or Rock is collecting our 10,000 smackers!
Is anyone still thinking Highland?
Any more ideas about the Fair grounds...the first clue rules out any chance of it being on the fair grounds.

mally and grimmy think como is the place
I think our best bet is Battle Creek with the references to 1995 four years ago it was hidden there. Additionally that old ski jumping hill is a sledding hill
....yo ho ho....
Actually the rules say Ramsey County. The first clue says a park in St. Paul, but the rules say the county
Rock,
I'm interested in your den idea but i don't see how man of fame///usefule name fits into NP. I think the medallion is in a small chest so i know you aren't thinking that
the clue refers to what its in....hmmm
whats your take on the name...taylor?
hi
Does anyone know where i can obtain a list of all the parks in STP
Then again the 9 and 5 could mean Highland in '94 five years ago. I want to know who has the job of hiding the damn thing.
Highland...Anyone?

I stand corrected the rules do say Ramsey County.
