Look guys.. I just wanna throw something in here. First off.. I'm not defending Jake in any way shape or form. All I'm gonna say is that I met Jake a few days into the medallion hunt and he was very nice to me and didn't diss the CC as well. Then agian I don't see him on a regular basis anyways. What's with the whole Us vs Them thing anyways? I dunno it just seems kind of funny to me.. because if Jake DID start it.. then it was very immature on his part, and for anyone of us to keep that going.. doesn't make us very mature either does it? Please don't think that I'm trying to pick a fight or anything because I'm not. I've talked to Reg on more than one occasion. He's a good kid... don't rag on him because he hangs around with Jake. I honestly don't think that he'd stoop to a level that low. I'm really glad that I came across the CC when I did. You guys are a remarkable group of people and I have made so many new friends since I've come along! Why let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch? Why take what Jake has to say seriously? It's the internet guys! Anyone can talk crap over the computer.. it's when you come face to face with the person that their tails go between their legs. MM, the thing with Jake has gone on for a good long while now. And it's more than things on the internet here. This just gives him a forum. It's been things he's done during mock hunts and other things he's done in conjunction with the hunt that gets people going. Jake can be a really nice guy, yeah. There's no denying that. I think he has to be though, otherwise with some of the stuff he pulls he wouldn't get the chances he has.

You can forgive someone and still not have them involved in your life. but what makes it worse is the person who then thinks its ok to keep hurting people after being forgiven -mostly because they know the people will forgive them and let them keep doing it.

Yeah, I did a mock hunt for the kids at Como. We got together there for a picnic and the hunt. As I'm thinking about it, I could do a hunt for the kids when we help clean up Phalen. There's plenty of places at Phalen to hide treasure. Give some extra incentive for people to help come out and clean?
A point of information. He's asking to be included on the picture page of OTS's site, right? At the bottom of his home page he has a statement that says, Welcome to Cooler Times. A resource and information page for the Cooler Crew AND medallion hunting community alike. However, the picture page is titled Meet The Cooler Crew. So does that mean that any medallion hunter can access the site, but the picture page is reserved for Cooler Crew? Just asking the question.
The thing is, none of us wanted to ban Jake or the Medallionators.
Jake just wouldn't stop. Wouldn't listen & wouldn't behave. He thought we should all tolerate his crap, and the boy has no boundries.
The Medallionators sadly enough, are guilty by association. Them sharing passwords/usernames, I never know who's who for sure.
I'm not playing dictator with Jake. I don't have a "Shoot on sight" policy yet. I know he's posting under the username jodierickson, and I'll leave him alone as long as he behaves.
But once he does, which I know he will. I'll yank it again, then he'll get another username, then we'll start the whole game all over again....

just got done sloggin all the jake comments. Blah... I'm just here to hunt, and most of the people are pretty nice, but nothing in life is ever perfect either. If some people want to play games, let em, not like I can stop em anyways, just like I don't have to play them. The more of an issue it becomes the worse it'll get. Nuff said on my part.
Two of my daughters worked at Best Buy corporate a couple of years ago and started emailing each other at their Best Buy accounts. Turns out that Abby's emails meant for her sister were being sent to CEO Richard Schulze and she was saying things like, how's your day going...want to meet for lunch, etc. He eventually emailed her back and said he'd love to meet for lunch, but was she sure she meant him? lol At least he was good natured about it!
I got all the free email addys I could ever want on my site. Thing is I wouldn't even bother asking anyone if they wanted one, because people can get email addresses so easy these days anyways.
