All answered already. ;-(
I got them all except the island one where I thought the water was added after the tractor was on the high part of land in the middle of the hole where the lake ended up to be. Ice is right tho. And I have a huge (well not so huge anymore) ice block sitting on my front step, and I couldn't think of that. Sheesh!
I just do it in my head so I don't have to type all the stuff over again. You definitely need to play on your own tho. Otherwise what's the point. I do the same during the hunt. Make up my own opinions, then post them without slogging until later.
#13 A woman has 7 children, half of them are boys.
Impossible, unless ALL her children are boys, but that just makes it stupid. Or if one or more of her children are hermaphrodites, but that's just frickin' weird.
#14 Bill bets Craig $100 that he can predict the score of the hockey game before it starts.
Before the game, the score is 0 - 0.
#15 What is the greatest worldwide use of cowhide?
Shoes.
#16 Scientists have proven that cats have more hair on one side then their other side. Some people believe that this is because when cats lay on their side they need insulation from the cold on the floor or ground. Which side of a cat has more hair?
The outside.
#17 You are on an island in the middle of a lake. The lake is in a remote part of the country and there has never been a bridge connecting the island to the mainland.
Every day a tractor and wagon gives hay rides around the island. Puzzled as to how the tractor had gotten onto the island, you ask around and find out that the tractor was not transported to the island by boat or by air. Nor was it built on the island.
Explain how the tractor got there?
It went there when the surrounding water was frozen
#18 You are at a river. With you are a Chicken, Bag of Grain, and a Wolf. You have to cross the river in your canoe but can only take one with you at a time. You can't leave the chicken with the grain. He'll eat it. You can't leave the wolf with the chicken. He'll eat it. How do you get everything over and intact?
Oh geez, I've done this one before and can't remember. I'll come back to this one, I got to get some work done.
Ok, nevermind, I think I got it.
First you bring chicken over, then you bring the fox over, but bring the chicken back with you. Then you leave the chicken, and bring the grain. Finally you go back and get the chicken.
HIS#3 What county is at the southern edge of the Northern Borealis Forest?

Even though I'm sure the answer is HI. but I'm wondering outside of this riddle...does minnesota have the most "SHORELINE" of all states?? Does Minnesota have more shoreline vs. Coastline?
Believe it or not it is not California, Hawaii or Florida. It is Minnesota the “Land of 10,000 Lakes.” When you combine all the rivers, lakes and ponds then Minnesota’s shoreline is 93,000 miles more than any other state. If Alaska ever measured the shoreline of all of its lakes, it would proba-bly win. It’s easy to find someone to look up to if you’re always sitting down.
Well, the maps I've found quickly suck, because they always show Alaska as a tiny little thing off to the side of the 48.
Using that map would definitely make Alaska the correct answer then as it looks like large island next to Hawaii.
I guess the correct response to #13 isn't so much that they're all boys but more like the other half are boys too. That way you don't cut little Johnny in half.
I'll have to take a picture of the old one. It's gonna be torn down in a couple months. I was waiting until I get a dumpster for the projects I'm gonna work on this summer.
#12 Hawaii. All of it is surrounded by water. Most people, amazingly enough, get this one wrong. They either say Maine, Florida, Alaska, or California.
#13 ALL the children are boys, so 1/2 half are boys and so is the other half.
#14 Bill said the score would be 0-0 and he was right. "Before" any hockey game starts, the score is always 0-0.
#15 To cover cows! hahahaha... that was too dumb!
#16 Well Duh! The outside of the Cat of course!
#17 It was driven over in winter when the lake was frozen.
#18 Take the Chicken over first and leave it on the other side. Next, take the Wolf across and leave him, but bring the Chicken back with you. Next trip, leave the Chicken where you started and take the Grain across with the Wolf. Finally, go back and get the Chicken.
I just know for sure that Willmar is not the home of the largest ox cart. We've spent way too much time in that area to have missed it if it were there.
#19 A doctor and a bus driver are both in love with the same woman, an attractive girl named Sarah. The bus driver had to go on a long bustrip that would last a week. Before he left, he gave Sarah seven apples. Why?
#20 Two girls have were born the same day, at just about the same time, in the same hospital, the same year, and they have the same parents. How is it possible that they aren't twins?
#21 A woman who lived in germany during world war two wanted to cross the german/swiss border in order to escape nazi persuers. The bridge which she is to cross is a half mile across, over a large canyon. Every three minutes a guard comes out of his bunker and checks if anyone is on the bridge. If a person is caught trying to escape german side to the swiss side they are shot. If caught crossing the other direction without papers they are sent back. She knows that it takes at least five minutes to cross the bridge, in which time the guard will see her crossing and shoot her. How does she get across?
#22 A woman was sitting on a windowsill on the 35th floor of a building. She was about to commit suicide. The police surrounded the bottom of the building telling her NOT to jump. Her husband was in the room with her and kept trying to stop her. She got nervous and fell, yet she did not get or hurt or even a scratch. Why?
#23 A guy bet his neighbor $100 dollars that his dog could jump higher than a house. Thinking this not possible, the neighbor took the bet an lost.
Why did he lose the bet?
#24 Two bankrobbers rob the local bank. They then hop in their car and scurry off to their hideout 20 miles away. When they get there they realize that one of their tires had been completely flat the whole time. How did they get to their hideout without noticing?
#25 There is a clothing store in Bartlesville. The owner has devised his own method of pricing items. A vest costs $20, socks cost $25, a tie costs $15 and a blouse costs $30. Using the method, how much would a pair of underwear cost?

Leelabell. You aren't supposed to read the previous posts before you make your guesses. Then you can play along when ever you get here.

hawaii has the largest coastline. bear in mind that the state of hawaii extends all the way out to midway island.
I'll have to check a map.
Well, the maps I've found quickly suck, because they always show alaska as a tiny little thing off to the side of the 48.
But I'm changing my answer to Alaska.
Rhode Island?
Rhode Island?
LOL
What do they have, about 13 miles of coastline?
:-)
I have to abstain on the second question regarding the largest ox cart. I cheated and looked it up. ;)

Do any other countries have states? Or just the US?
I believe they do. Don't know which ones though.
I just reread it, and it's phrased different than how I was taking it.
This is how it's phrased:
"What state is surrounded by the most water?"
I automatically thought of coastilne, but that doesn't mean it's surrounded by more water.
I have to switch my answer yet again to Hawaii.
#18 let the chicken eat the grain, Let the wolf eat the chicken. Row over with the wolf. The shouldn't be digested yet. Is that "intact"?
Kids got it
Even though I'm sure the answer is HI.
but I'm wondering outside of this riddle...does minnesota have the most "SHORELINE" of all states?? Does Minnesota have more shoreline vs. Coastline?
I like this thread :)
last I checked, we don't have a coastline
I would bet we have more shoreline than land border though
oops...i'm sorry do we have more shoreline vs. other states and their coastline....i'm just wondering its not a riddle!!!
we might have. I don't know. Could maybe look it up somewhere...
we do have a lot of shoreline with 10,000 + lakes
But the question asks what state is surrounded, not what state has the most shoreline.
He was just wondering about it. Not for the riddle.
Believe it or not it is not California, Hawaii or Florida.
