we got there 1/2 hour early and there were people with tickets lined up on both sides from the enterance points to the doors. Forget that! I want a good seat if I'm going! We came home instead. Maybe next week it won't be so crowded.

One of my guy's didn't show up for work today, had to lock up the store so I could go to the bank and get change, found out from one of his neighbors that they took him away in an ambulance last night, he has a big drinking problem and a depression problem too, hope he's ok, but on the other hand, he makes my life misserable most of the time so I kinda hope he doesn't come back to work. Think I'll go out and have a few drinks tonight, it's been a weird week!

LL - A guy with a drinking problem is probably better off not working at a liquor store. Good grief! Hope he's okay though.

And did I mention that this Page Scholar of mine is getting to go to Guatemala? Yup! Through the education department at Augsburg where she attends weekend college and where she is working full time, they have a group going to Guatemala to study the effects of government on the education system. This is not costing her anything...and she gets to meet up with her brother at some point during the trip! Both my kids are excited about that!

Things always have a way of working themselves out. Time is a huge factor in their case.
My brother is prolly my best friend now. Although I was prolly his worst enemy as a kid.

I for one am glad that have developed a good relationship. They truly love each other in spite of their many differences. They are so opposite each other in so many ways that for them to find common ground is darn near miraculous.

Sorry cooler heads :( Due to this mess with my schedule at work we can't make it to Ferns today :( I'm so pissed..... I'm getting shifted to day shift... now I have to pay for a baby sitter.... We're trying to save up for our house... and now this!

Violet J... I take Cipro. That way, should I bee xposed to anthrax (sp?), I'll bee otay. Seriously? The Cipro seems to work the best. USUALLY after just one pill, and by the time I've taken three (1.5 days), I'm feeling GREAT.

However... This time izz another matter. I've a sinus infection to beat the band...

After I posted Wed AM, I hit the hay and didn't awaken until 7:00 PM. Pops had come home early at my request as I was sicker'un a dog. He went and got my medicine. I took it at 7:30 and then was out again.

Woke up Thurs and couldn't go to work. Slept most o'the day - Pops, bless his heart - stayed home with me and saw that I got my medicine and food. Was awake (reading) more than I was on Wed, but could not get out of bed.

Went to work Fri, but should have stayed home. So weak and tired and could hardly think. Walking was hard because my ears were (are) all stopped up and think I've an inner ear infection. :(

The Chickadee was supposed to come over Fri nite, but I was so sick - didn't even go get Pops at the bus stop - she didn't come over. Spent almost all of yesterday in bed sleeping: Got up a bit and did like two hours house work. Then bock to bed. Got up at 9:00ish when she and Pops got home, and then bock to bed right away.

Today's the first day I've been outta bed for like for real. And... I've over done it. I'm whipped. This sinus infection's just NOT going away. Bet working in the warehouse Fri didn't help any...........

Fear not, Beloved Fiends! Can't keep an old bitch down. Or at least not too long or for ever! I may not bee around for a bit - think tonite (after dinner at Outback) will be an early night, as well as tomorrow - like as soon as I get home...

Guess all went very well. Brenda said she was nervous, but everyone was impressed with how she spoke. She seldom shows nerves though. I know the tell tale signs, but no one else would pick up on them.
