Welcome to the 5th Annual Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt!
The treasure was found just before 9am on Wednesday, March 10th, by Me2. She will get a prize around $290 plus a variety of other goodies. It was found in Marydale Park on the north side in a pit under a tree near lamp post #12.
The wrap up party will be Saturday, March 13th at 8pm at Fabulous Fern's.
You might start with a peek through the looking glass.
start at prospect? Cherokee? (where the veiwer thing is)
Dining and cooking you’ll find figure most prominently
Picnic area with grills
Go now and don’t be late for your very important date.
A church?
She asked if there was any way to make it shorter.
A bridge
“We simply gather up the rain and stir in the tea!”
snowball or ice mixed with leaves or Railroad Island=train
Now possibilities for Highland would be the foot bridge over Montreal. There's plenty of picnic area there and a church visible from the park. Tons of leaves and such and great places for a Cheshire Cat to be hiding.
railroad island- funny- I have to research that place for a friend of mine -she is gonna help sell the condos there.
Mounds has the 3rd st bridge as well as trains below
good thinking about the foot bridge at Highland -that always seams to come up as an answer in every hunt over the past couple of years.funny. It will always be luke SKYWALKER to me :)
I love Mounds. Great park!
keep in mind Kellogg has trains that cross over the river at Robert as well as 2 bridges
don't forget the train yards by battle creek...
And from Mounds, you can see the bridges in the distance.
I will never get outa here with all this train / bridge talk!
if you wanna play that game!...at COMO there is the old train station with the walking bridge at the corner of Horton and Lexington---so there ;p ...take that! EVIL JOE!!!!!
gooooooodBYE! :)
very prominant in breakfast cereal/dining
And there's that bridge support thing that is missing the span over near the Blair Witch Hunt hiding spot.
And there are bridges at Phalen - but no trains.
west picnic grounds
I think we are going backwards...
just wanted to post it -even though it was posted way back

there is an old train track by phalen
Certainly plenty of possibilities yet.
I best go get some dinner on the table here. BBL
anagram for "stir in the tea" : at thirteen is or at either isn't...
hwy 13 is cherokee...
or geez...i been forgetting all about harriet after PP rules...
I will be out and about tomorrow night, if anyone wants to hook up or whatever.
I'm going to try to sneek out on lunchbreak and after about 930pm-ish...
actually mikey, the train tracks aren't at phalen anymore. they've been replaced with biking/hiking trails.
The Gateway Trail runs on the old rail line, doesn't it?
yuppers.
Had company tonight so missed the fun. Lots of good ideas. I especially like the thirteen anagram. Something else to think about, a platter could be an LP. Lewis Park is close to the train yards, according to the THG.
wheres Chris? I missed him?
anyways...I had to run to that meeting and I drove through Cherokee to 13 (I live right here and that was the way I had to go) I drove past 3 people with a flashlight looking around a lightpole ?? at 7 pm. are you really out looking in Cherokee? Do you know how many parks and possibilities there still are? what do we have? bridge and trains for goodness sakes. AW isnt gonna give us a street name clue yet-read up on his last hunts. do some homework -we dont want a hunt to end n clue 4-5-6 YUK YUK!
I was wondering what year A in W was written -maybe its a park address. Lewis can make sense as much as any other park with trains and fits the theme. but are there any bridges?
guide Reg guide
:) Lewis Carroll
Carroll being Merriam as well -the trains run across 94 there and the bridge that crosses 94. Carroll is the street name even though I dont believe he gives us a st name this soon. but it can be an overall theme idea---Lewis or Carroll
It's on Woodbridge St.
have you been out there???
sorry I cannot find my THG
Eastern boundary is Woodbridge
It's the only park in the guide with the initials LP, as in platter.
ot,
is that park your top choice
what about chairokey
there were cops all over Chairokey -Prospect and Harriet yesterday about 4 pm
a man stole a truck or robbed a bank and got into a chase which ended by 13 and 35
Aight... so this park is near Merriam?
I always try to make the clues fit Cherokee until I learn something to send me to another park. It's the closest to me.
No, not far from the capitol.
actually, I think I will take a drive by that Lewis after dropping Mark off at work at 8 am tomorrow. maybe take a walk around.
Hey VJ-HI
Iris is near Merriam
I don't have to get up in the morning. I could run out there right now, or at least early in the AM.
maybe we can just meet up at LP in the morning- I heard snow by Friday, so getting out there before it all comes down should be good to get a good look at it with no snow.
