2004 Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt

Submitted by THX 1138 on

Welcome to the 5th Annual Allison Wonderland Mock Hunt!

The treasure was found just before 9am on Wednesday, March 10th, by Me2. She will get a prize around $290 plus a variety of other goodies. It was found in Marydale Park on the north side in a pit under a tree near lamp post #12.

The wrap up party will be Saturday, March 13th at 8pm at Fabulous Fern's.

You might start with a peek through the looking glass.

start at prospect? Cherokee? (where the veiwer thing is)

Dining and cooking you’ll find figure most prominently

Picnic area with grills

Go now and don’t be late for your very important date.

A church?

She asked if there was any way to make it shorter.

A bridge

“We simply gather up the rain and stir in the tea!”

snowball or ice mixed with leaves or Railroad Island=train

Now possibilities for Highland would be the foot bridge over Montreal. There's plenty of picnic area there and a church visible from the park. Tons of leaves and such and great places for a Cheshire Cat to be hiding.

Had company tonight so missed the fun. Lots of good ideas. I especially like the thirteen anagram. Something else to think about, a platter could be an LP. Lewis Park is close to the train yards, according to the THG.

wheres Chris? I missed him?

anyways...I had to run to that meeting and I drove through Cherokee to 13 (I live right here and that was the way I had to go) I drove past 3 people with a flashlight looking around a lightpole ?? at 7 pm. are you really out looking in Cherokee? Do you know how many parks and possibilities there still are? what do we have? bridge and trains for goodness sakes. AW isnt gonna give us a street name clue yet-read up on his last hunts. do some homework -we dont want a hunt to end n clue 4-5-6 YUK YUK!

I was wondering what year A in W was written -maybe its a park address. Lewis can make sense as much as any other park with trains and fits the theme. but are there any bridges?

Wed, 03/03/2004 - 10:52 PM Permalink

guide Reg guide
:) Lewis Carroll
Carroll being Merriam as well -the trains run across 94 there and the bridge that crosses 94. Carroll is the street name even though I dont believe he gives us a st name this soon. but it can be an overall theme idea---Lewis or Carroll

Wed, 03/03/2004 - 11:10 PM Permalink

there were cops all over Chairokey -Prospect and Harriet yesterday about 4 pm
a man stole a truck or robbed a bank and got into a chase which ended by 13 and 35

maybe we can just meet up at LP in the morning- I heard snow by Friday, so getting out there before it all comes down should be good to get a good look at it with no snow.
