It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.
Allison Wonderland
I have to admit Westside Will, I was a bit suprised when I pulled into Conway the first time tonight around eleven and the only person there was The Medallion Kid.
But then again, maybe everyone had just gone home to wait for the new clue. I think the clues have been vague enough that you could fit them to almost any park if
you try and thus there's no consensus. And some people, if they're not sure of the park, won't go out to dig. I think Cherokee was identified a little earlier last year
and Como was definitely identified early. I believe that brought out people who figured they would take their chance at least knowing they were in the right park.
Here's another example: Judiasm is an established belief, to eat pork is to go against judiasm, to go against Judiasm is to be an iconoclast, therefore the medallion is
at PIGS EYE PARK!!!!!
The Jews were/are sooooooo popular,
You see how that logic just doesn't work? I'm sorry King, I'm just sorry, I disagree with you, no offense. But you're wrong on that interpretation.
The clues alone should tell you where Conway is, but its on the east side, just north of 94 by 3M. Technically its between Conway and Wilson, and Ruth and
no one knows anything in here for sure, these clues fit 2 parks very good, but the only thing we know for sure is that this is the 8th clue and we're not positive on the
The iconoclast is Alison- the one who goes agains conventional wisdom to search a small park, where it's never been hidden before, Tommorow the iconoclast is me
You guys need to start checking some smaller parks.....like Rice Arlington. Where else is there a white, round, tightly stretched thing covering a quarry....which also
That's the tricky part. Just because you are in the right park, it doesn't mean much. Actually finding the damn thing is a whole lot more luck than knowledge. I must
have spent 60 hours in Cherokee last year but still came up empty.
Allison- You gave your description of where it is earlier and that pinpointed it. I'll give you credit, clue #7 gives this park a lot of validity. Thanks.
KING, I answered it already, and so did Alison about 80 posts ago, The clue reads "if you're willing to be an iconoclast" the interp. of this is, "Go against tradition
All I can say for bp's Battle Creek theory is that I don't think its there because its at Conway. If bp can make as convincing an argument I'd listen to it. Otherwise it
looks like the system is getting sleepy and so am I. I guess I caused enough havoc for one night. I guess I know where I'll be seeing you all tomorrow. I'm the one
dressed in black with long hair, a mustache and goatee (for those of you who didn't realize Allison was my last name), poking around with a cane.
quarry means diamond shaped..as in baseball diamond...which is located at the edge of RA park....that building is used by the kids at arlington high school and
although I don't know the exact order of the #'s the address of AHS is 1495
DAMN IT KING!!! You don't have to be religious to be an iconoclast. Jesse Ventura is an iconoclast- DON'T try to argue against THAT one- it just happened
that the highlanders were. Iconoclast and Highlander are NOT synonomous, nor interchangable words.
For those of you who think the medallion is in a park west of Lexington, what is the "translucent peak". Remember, the park needs to fit the clues, not vice-versa.
THanks for the help alison! I'll see you there, I'll be the one bitching about how Iconoclast does NOT neccisarily have anything to do with religion . . .

People who are still waiting this year.
no dig up the indian burial grounds
inconoclast, we all agree on what it is, but could it be a street, possibly ruth as in the bible, book of ruth. just a possibility

Nancy--no--it means its in that park because to be one would mean to dig there
The clues alone should tell you where Conway is, but its on the east side, just north of 94 by 3M. Technically its between Conway and Wilson, and Ruth and
Howard.
no one knows anything in here for sure, these clues fit 2 parks very good, but the only thing we know for sure is that this is the 8th clue and we're not positive on the
park yet
Allison - Do you have a hudson map book accesible to you?
So whos your iconoclast, Id like to see your theory?
Good night, see you all on TV tommorrow night!
The iconoclast is Alison- the one who goes agains conventional wisdom to search a small park, where it's never been hidden before, Tommorow the iconoclast is me
To say that imitating someone's behavior would make you an iconoclast is almost an oxymoron.
And if you think the lawsuits from the jews for that clue wouldnt bother the PP... your nuts!
Allison is right. I went to check out the park just to see if my theory was good. I liked it so much, I ended up digging for over 2 hours.
allison- what do you think of bp's theory pf highland park, not conway?!
You guys need to start checking some smaller parks.....like Rice Arlington. Where else is there a white, round, tightly stretched thing covering a quarry....which also
means diamond shaped
no way i never said highland park those words were put in my mouth. I don't really know the name of my guess...it is part of bc tho
oh you didn't know-
if allison is right, where's the medallion?
I have a street map and two map programs, plus Yahoo! maps, but I don't have a Hudson specifically.
God King, it was just an example.
bp- what is BC??????!!!!
battle creek
That's the tricky part. Just because you are in the right park, it doesn't mean much. Actually finding the damn thing is a whole lot more luck than knowledge. I must

so... who is your iconoclast--you keep dodging the question?
who are you asking bill?
violator are you still in here
You, the treasure hunter are the iconoclast - by going against the norm, going somewhere new (where it has not been before).
Stalion?
What about the tight white covered quarry? the softball makes sense, but what about the covered quarry?
So... what are YOU (being an iconoclast) going to RELIGIOUSLY do for it to be in that park?
Allison- You gave your description of where it is earlier and that pinpointed it. I'll give you credit, clue #7 gives this park a lot of validity. Thanks.
KING, I answered it already, and so did Alison about 80 posts ago, The clue reads "if you're willing to be an iconoclast" the interp. of this is, "Go against tradition
and be willling to believe it's in a new park"
Just read the damn clue!
what's the water coolersweb sit address?
icon... isnt necassarily religious, just a deep belief
The quarry is the medallion and it is covered by something white like the outside of a baseball or softball.
if so, then you have to do something religious orrientated for it to be in that park... what is that... PRAY????
Thanks Allison. You Da Man!

iconoclast= religious rebel in all simple terms
good night and happy digging to you all!! Buena suerte!
Thank you Allison for the valuable information. Good luck tomorrow!

Where did religion come from? If you look in a Thesaurus you will find words such as rebel, nonconformist, dissenter, and renegade.
good luck, goodnight
Eric, I was on the cooler last year.

All I can say is visit the park. I bet you will believe it's there too.
You need a history class.. the most famous iconoclasts were the HIGHLANDERS they were a people, a klan, an army. Not a synonym
